Who cares where he was born, or where he was raised? There really aint that much of a difference between Texas and Oklahoma. We are both states that still love, and live that country life that others have abandoned. Aside from the Longhorns/Sooners rivalry (which should just be in good fun), our two states have more in common than we do with any other states, IMO. Stoney, like many other Texas country/Red Dirt artists, has no problem representing both states, and they do it well.
