No Koreans stood up for Korean comfort women while Japan governed Korea, including the time during WW2. Koreans suddenly stood up in 90s. You must know what it means. They were just the same prostitutes as you can see everywhere now. Korean don't know the word of Shame.
There were South Koreans in a Japanese army. Korean soldier bought a Korean prostitute. The prostitute came later on after the Japanese army. To Japanese army, the Japanese government issued instructions so that he might not buy a Korean prostitute.
South Korean government suggested the prostitute equal comfort women. Japanese people are very very angry with the South Korean government.
South Koreans must not trust the South Korean government.
(Part5)The NY Times on Jan. 8, 2009 said Korean prostitutes put U.S military and Korean government on trial. They complained about having been forced sex with Americans in Korea. They worked as comfort women from 1960 to 1980 in Korea. Moreover, an LAPD official said some 70-80 prostitutes were arrested every month, and 90 percent of them were Korean. Were they forced to be sexual slaveries by the Japanese military? Was the story true?
(Part4)In other words, Korean ladies decided to get the job. In fact, they got a lot of money. Also, they amused themselves by participating in sports events with both officers and men, and attended picnics, entertainments, and social dinners. They had a phonograph and in the towns they were allowed to go shopping. The Ladies were allowed the prerogative of refusing a customer.
(Part3)According to the Japanese Prisoner of War Interrogation Report No. 49, which was reported by U.S in Aug 20 to Sept 10, 1944, 20 of Korean ladies were working as comfort women in Japanese camp during WW2. The "house master" that means manager of the comfort house, received 50 to 60% of the girls' gross earnings depending on how much of a debt each girl had incurred when she signed her contract.
(Part2)What was happened actually? Many brothel owners opened their business next to military gates. It was a natural because they could make more money. This is quite natural. Therefore Japanese military did not open these brothels during the war, but brothels owners who were local people in the countries which Japanese troops were dispatched. Were they hurt by the Japanese? We can’t find any evidence of that except ladies verbal statements.
■(Part1)Japan is criticized over the so called comfort women problem which was happened in the war. How comfort women problem differ from these prostitutes? Attackers against Japan over the comfort women problem said that they, prostitutes for Japanese military, were forced into prostitution as a form of sexual slavery by the Japanese military organization. Was it true? In fact Japanese military had not forced these women.
Comfort women mostly from Korea and China, also Philippines, Taiwan, Burma, the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia), Netherlands, and Australia were forced into sexual slavery in frontline Comfort Stations in China, Indochina and Indonesia.
Cannibalism in many parts of Asia and the Pacific against POWs, e.g. Chichi Jima and Bonin Islands, in some cases, flesh was cut from living people.
Widespread looting in occupied territories (valuable goods from banks, depositories, temples, churches, mosques, museums, businesses, private homes, etc.) was organized on a massive scale by official secret organization called Kin no yuri (Golden Lily) headed by Chichibu, Hirohito’s brother.
Mass raped by Japanese soldiers in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia, where some victims were pre-menstruating girls.
8,000 Australian and Dutch POWs died in Tarsau, Thailand.
After March 20, 1943, the Japanese Navy was under orders to execute all POWs taken at sea.
A tacit order from Hirohito to execute all Chinese POWs before the surrender of Japan, out of thousands of Chinese POWs, only 56 survived; and to eliminate evidences, all surviving human test subjects in Japanese Army’s chemical and biological research units were executed before the surrender of Japan.
Thousands of POWs and captured civilians were transported to Japan, Taiwan, Indochina, Manchuria, or Korea to be used as forced labor perished in Hell ships such as Oryoku Maru, Junyo Maru, Dainichi Maru, Arisan Maru, and many more.
More than 100,000 civilians and POWs died in the construction of the Death Railway (or Thailand-Burma Railway).
Only 52,000 of the 270,000 Javanese forced laborers being sent to other Japanese held areas survived after WWII, a death rate of 80%.
Most victims of the human experimentations were Chinese, also American, British, Australian and Russian POWs.
At least six different chemical and biological attacks were conducted in China, such as Changde chemical and biological weapon attack in Hunan, and twice Kaimingjie germ weapon attacks in Zhejiang, chemical weapons attack in Battle of Wuhan and Battle of Zaoyang-Yichang.
Cyanide gas was tested on Australian and Dutch POWs on Kai Islands of Indonesia.
Various Japanese Army Units (100, 200, 516, 543, 731, 773, 1644, 1855, 2646, 8604, 9420) researched and developed chemical (potassium cyanide, phosgene, chlorine, hydrogen cyanide, arsenic trichloride, sulfer mustard, lewisite etc.) and biological (anthrax, glanders, rusts, bubonic plague, typhoid, typhus, cholera, smallpox, botulism, tuberculosis, malaria, etc.) weapons, and conducted lethal human experimentations on the general population in Japanese occupied territories.
The Three Alls Policy (Kill all, Burn all, Loot all) sanctioned by Hirohito was to massacre an entire village if they suspected an enemy hiding in the village, such as the Panjiayu Massacre in Hebei, China.
• Manila Massacre in Manila, Philippines. • Nanking Massacre in Nanking, China. • Palawan Massacre in Palawan, Philippinnes. • Parit Sulong Massacre in Johor, Malaysia. • Sook Ching Massacre in Singapore. • SS Tjisalak Massacre by Japanese submarine I-8. • Terror Bombing of Chongqing, China. • Tol Plantation Massacre in the Australian Territory of New Guinea. • Wake Island Massacre in North Pacific Ocean. • Hsuchow (Xuzhou) Massacre in Jiangsu, China.
Korean woman born in the Confucianism society which was strict to women was suppressed and poor, but she worked safely voluntary in a brothel and became rich.
The Vietnamese woman raped by Korean soldier who came over suddenly. She was spoiled all her lives and her family.
(part3)In New York and Virginia of the United States, many Korean women were arrested for prostitution. Since 2006 Los Angeles Police Department said that 90% of prostitutes arrested every month in Los Angeles are Koreans. In my opinion, this is the same situation as WW2. What is amazing is that these ladies parents forced them to get prostitutes work. Their act hasnt changed yet.

This movie completely insults Korean men. Were they becoming silent for policemen(Most is Korean men in Korea) to take away their daughters and lovers? Did the Korean lieutenant general and officers of the Japanese army make brothers' women sex slaves?
the japanese atrocities in nanking as well as any place else during WWII is 100 times worst compared to the Nazi germans.
