@megamage911 Yeah, the Legend games. It pissed me off. I kinda hated how difficult it was to find the gems in the first game. Never finished it 100%. They dissed Crash too a little, with his Titan games. They were really unique, but underrated titles. Quite a shame. IGN really doesn't know how to rate most games. The only review I truly agreed with them on was Batman Arkham City.

@vgman94 well, i haven't seen theire reviews, i've just heard alot of bad things about them, and the information i've gotten from this haven't really given me a better opinion about them xD but yeah, crash bandicoot is deffinently way too overlooked, just sad that naughty dog sold the franchise when the ps2 came out :/ but at least they went on to develop other good games like jak and daxter :P which they again dropped when the ps3 came out,,, and made uncharted that i've heard good things about

@megamage911 I personally despise Uncharted. The first had boring gameplay and the sequels just didn't really grasp you. It felt like they took Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider and tried to fuse it and improve them. I find it to be extremely overrated. I don't see why people like it so much. As for opinions on Crash and Spyro: I recommend you watch walkthroughs yourself and ignore comments. Watching the games gives you a better feel of the game than words do. But Dawn of the Dragon from Spyro...

@megamage911 (continued)... Is quite different from the previous 2 Legend games. So if you find the two previous ones boring, skip to the third. It has a more lively flavor in my view. As for Crash, I'd recommend a walkthrough by Mariofan110. He has the most neutral and enjoyable walkthrough of the game in my view. That's all I can say about that, if you were wanting some advice to understand the games more. Jak and Daxter was awesome. I don't know why ND dropped that franchise. It was great.

I'd say that pretty damn unforgettable, though the sound effects are a different story... Except that damn health fountain sound effect... Thats stuck in my head for eternity.

This game is seriously underrated, it's one of the best PS1 games to me. The others being Spyro, Silent Hill, Akuji the Heartless, and "METAAAAAL GEAAAAR".

I didnt like medievil 2 as much as medievil 1 because it just wasnt creepy... at all. In the first one you had that feeling of being alone, and the environments just creeped you out, like the graveyard. Medievil 2 lacked everything that made the first game a masterpiece.

The 90's truly were a better decade, at least in terms of original video games.

Just look at Parasite Eve, MediEvil, the first Gran Turismo, and Metal Gear Solid--all beautiful, all well-designed, and hardly a clone of something else.

Now, it's Halo 13 and MegaMan SuperBattleUltraXROFLMFAO 2597328752098375 all the time.

Maybe we should look at how games were made back then, and use those strategies to create games now.

Mixing horror with comedy, action, adventure, and hack-n-slash is no easy task.

Thankfully, SCEE pulled it off beautifully.

I will say, however, the platforming could have gone better. I didn't really enjoy the difficulty judging where the pits were and weren't. The camera prevented a lot of depth perception from working right.

But, in the end, I enjoyed it, and I still do. I play MediEvil to this day, and for nostalgia's sake, on the original PlayStation as well.

Even though they're hay monsters, not farmers, yea, they are a serious pain in the ass. Without cheats in close combat with those mofoes your goose is cooked, and surprisingly, the Fields is a level not too far in the game.
