Out of all the PoP's, this one remains the most beautiful and the most emotionally poignant, more so then even Sands of Time. Sadly, those factors didn't equate into positive game sales, so Ubisoft decided to base the newer PoP games off of the Live Action movie it seems, at least visually. (Pause) That just hurts my brain. At least the game can still be purchased and we have great walkthroughs like this.

This game has a good feel to it, incredible graphics(a little bit cartoony), somewhat decent storyline, good characters even though the prince may sometime get on my nerves.

But I agree that the combat system is very horrendous although the Elika + Prince fighting scenes were pretty cool.

This game could have been a lot better if they fixed the combat system, put a few more challenges and named it something else than prince of persia.

the worst thing about this game is the fighting sequences, Very unrespondsive 80% if the time. It can take an excessive amount of time to kill an easy bad guy as it can to kill a difficult one. Or sometimes you just get randomly lucky and you win the battle in one or two hits. or maybe none at all and the bad guy falls off the platform. I love everything else about this game though just not the way they decided to make the battles happen.

Why don't you play the other ones and you see what I mean. The graphcs and the open world was awsome but there needs to be more put into the game. Not like blood and gore and like enemys everey singal corner but there needs to be some kind of action. And dying. Needs to have some sort of challenge. I agree about the acrobats I love that but is you put some more enemys not alot but like you know like other prince of persia games then I would be happy the give this game a 5/5!

Valid points. I personally don't care about the 'lack' of action, and I think that the 'never' dying part, while abused a bit much by the programmers, is a good way of helping the flow of PoP, which is a must in a parkour game like this.

I can understand where you're coming from, but your first comment was all 'hur hur this game sucks, no violence, can't die' so your true opnion couldn't be seen.

The point is to create a new story with no ties to the first trilogy. The last Prince's story was great, one of my favorites, but it's over. Ubisoft felt it was time to move on to a new storyline. I think it's a good thing. You have to know when to end something before it gets too repetitive and boring, so that it doesn't just get overlooked and forgotten. That's just my opinion though, you don't have to get all angry. ;)

i beat it and i absolutely love it!! im not gonna post up spoilers but the endin keeps u hooked and waiting for the next sequel (im pretty sure there's a sequel coming up) cuz on ps3 (my system) you get a trophy sayin "to be continued..." and also there were pop1,pop2,pop3 which turned into the pop trilogy. then there was PoP:SOT thn PoP:WW thn PoP:T2T which turned into the sands of time trilogy now the 3rd generation has come and im pretty sure that there will be another 2 games coming up!!!!!!

First thing is that this is not Prince of Persia 4, meaning it is not the same guy. The previous prince was more "my country" oriented while this one is "my money" oriented. The graphics are more cartooney, but it looks good. You can't die, which is good. Finding light seeds is a royal pain. Get the guide if you plan on getting them all. The controls will definitely take getting used to. The in-game tutorials are very confusing on the PC version. Overall, nice game.

For a game that focus's itself so heavily on art, i really think they could have done a better job with the textures of the main character, seems a bit 2-3 years ago.
