  • This is my favorite Rush song! I wish they had played this on their Time Machine tour! (Too bad I was born in 1996 and not fifteen years earlier... I really want to see them them play this song in concert!)

  • Wow this song feels weird without lasers

  • old town old sol

  • Roll theBones tour

  • hahahahaha geddy's pants. lol :-)

  • Some people say that Alex lifeson or rush isn't anything after the 70's and 80's. Some people just don't like rush.

  • @jinxedmodder their is obviously something wrong with the wiring of their brain, ffs, tee.

Wandering wondering if my epiatph shall read "brb"

  • Für mich die beste kanadische Band aller Zeiten!

  • Damn it's been 20 years already

  • Neil Peart - It should be illegal to be that talented a drummer & that gifted a songwriter...

  • La verdadera trilogía del Rock: Geddy, Alex y Neil para siempre...

  • Sounds like the mix was awesome that night

  • dude, Primus Sucks!!!! .... :P

  • Very deep song.

Neil Peart is, in my opinion, the greatest songwriter of all time. Many people might disagree with me, but I have listened to alot of music in my days, and no one's words capture the human experience so eloquently, or reach inside me to the deepest parts of my soul like Neil's do.

(And Geddy was the reason I learned to play bass!)

  • @TheOriginalAnalogKid actually Neil isn't the songwriter of the band, Geddy and Alex compose the music while Neil supplies the lyrics. I'm sure Neil influences the songwriting process but I would consider Geddy and Alex the songwtriters of RUSH.

  • @EthanWhateley

    I understand that.

A "song" consists of two parts; the MUSIC, and the LYRICS, which are commonly referred to as the "SONG". Just because one does not compose the music for a song that one has written, does not mean that one cannot be referred to as a "songwriter".

I think you may have missed my point...

  • @TheOriginalAnalogKid well, that's all good, I personally would refer to him as a great lyricist but not necessarily a great songwriter. In any case these guys always end up turning out a great product "together". I've always heard Neil hands over a bunch of lyrics to the guys and they take them and use them however they see fitting. I think there's a good division of labor between them all.

  • @TheOriginalAnalogKid Rush is great and the songs are deep. but you should look into the songs of Tool, Pink Floyd and Dave Matthews. they also have very intellectual greatly writtin songs. dont be hypocritical just check it out. Dave matthews - Lie in our graves Satellite of love 95' Tool- Fibbonaci in Laterlus

    pink floyd Lost for words.

these songs are the tip of the iceberg

  • @playahayton

really???... I appreciate your input brother, but do think I am not familiar with anything other than RUSH? I love Tool. They are tremendous musicians, yes. I am very familiar with their work. I have been listening to Pink Floyd since before you were masturbating to the JCPenney catalog . I am aware of every note, of every song they have ever recorded! ...and for even mentioning Dave Matthews in the same breath as RUSH, Floyd, & tool you should be strung up by your nutsack.

  • wondering the face of the earth, wondering what our dreams might be worth

  • Rush is the best rock band of all time and Steve Nash is one of the best point guards of all time. I guess Canadians do better for themselves than many of my ignorant fellow Americans think they do.

  • ...on the run...

  • I think this is my new favorite Rush song. It used to be a three-way tie between Anthem, Subdivisions, and Roll the Bones, but this... this is just TOO good. I question whether a band that can write something like this is even human.

  • @kinginsomniac

One of my personal favorites that no one ever talks about is "Middletown Dreams" on Power Windows. Lyrics and music, powerful. ...Also "Bravado"! (gets me every time!)

  • pure...genius

  • "We're only immortal for a limited time-" Man, I love that line...

  • Love the shot of rows 1-10 during the first 27 seconds. They're right on top of you at this venue.

  • what did they open with here?

  • Force Ten

  • @mcfinch2 speedway, lol, opened.

  • The 28th time they had ever played Dreamline. A CLASSIC! Once again top Kudos goes to Mr. Femers.

  • HA first view

Rush is the greatest band in the UNIVERSE!

  • I'm gonna have to agree with you on that one. ;-)

  • I'll second that
