  • Stim, what movie is that opening clip from? Looks like it might be worth renting.

  • @absentmindedprof I believe its called "the age of stupid"

  • great video man ! You know I watched a documentary called " The Great Global Warming Swindle " its on you tube.. changed my mind, Co2 has nothing to do with climate change.. its the Sun....its worth a watch :)

  • Good, really good work! Thank you!

  • There is something reminiscent of the rocky picture show about those eyes and mouth.

    Great work man !

  • Sorry, but i really believe in Stimulator! I thing that no need more explain ;)

  • My second coment: I REALLY LIKE IT BECAUSE IS TRUE!

  • @sasaneti

what is it that you see in this video that is "true"?

I heard several untrue statements here. First, Obama isn't a capitalist, he's a fascist. Copenhagen wasn't set up to do anything to fix the environment - it was a tax scam. It failed b/c the people realized that global warming is a hoax & this "treaty" wouldn't do the environment any good - it would just pour more money into banks & the elite...at the expense of the same as always: poor & middle class. Copenhagen was a success!

  • Cool vid

  • where is the happy?

  • this is retarted

  • So many idiots here give thumbs down based on nothing at all but personal animosity, even when I'm just discussing normally.

  • Actually, silicon is widely abundant in the Earth's crust. You do need to extract natural materials, which always has it's downsides (which are negligible compared to those of fossil fuels). The point is to think economical in an ecological context, for the betterment of both nature and humans. If you wish to live primitively, go ahead, but I don't think that's the way to go. We would all be subjugated to whatever Nature would throw at us. Don't think that she's nice all the time.

  • hopefully I can see you whilst in Portland.

  • dude... you are wrong. drink some more gore koolade.

  • Wow how deceptive, monbiot hasn't thrown in the towel! Obviously copenhagen was very disappointing but if he thought the future was totally hopeless all his writing about climate change would be for naught.

  • Where is the science that explains how man made Co2 emissions contribute to x% of global warming? If global warming is true, then it cannot all be the result of man, so what percentage is man made, and what percentage is natural? How do they test this? I would love to see nations come together to fix the problem of pollution, but not by implementing another 'international' bureaucracy which will essentially tax the hell out of working class people so that corporations can stay profitable.

  • Go to potholer54 channel and you'll find there a nice scientific series about Co2 and global warming. Enjoy

  • Thank you, I will check it out.

  • you know what fuck this channel, all you people are fucking blind.

    Direct action, anyone?

  • That's convenient rhetoric for you. Either accept the old business as usual scenario, or accept no more electricity and so on - period. There *are* other options, in case you weren't aware.

    False dilemma.

There are a wide range of solutions and we should be discussing and applying them right now, but instead, some people still wish to stick their heads in the sand an pretend we don't have a problem at all.

  • I don't agree with that. Solar technology has the potential of completely replacing the fossil fuel and nuclear based energy system. The sun supplies the earth with more energy in one hour than the entire world uses in an entire year. In combination with wind energy, geothermal energy, wave and tidal power, we could pull this off. But what we need above all, is economic, political and popular will.

In the far future (in the order of centuries) we could probably use nuclear fusion as well.

  • @vanderbilt887 What's nuclear fusion?

  • It's the opposite of nuclear fission, what we are using now. It's how the sun gets it's energy. For example, the fusion of deuterium and tritium (hydrogen isotopes) 'creating' helium-4, energy and some other stuff. The energy released in fusion is much greater than the energy released in fission. Moreover, if it works properly, no nuclear waste nor CO2 is produced.

Nuclear fusion is also used in hydrogen bombs. As a source of energy however, it's still in developement (say the JET reactor).

  • @GreggaryPeccary

    Are you serious ?

  • @CaptainBluebear08

    About what?

  • @CaptainBluebear08 Hey dude, where has all the stuff on your channel gone?

  • @CaptainBluebear08 I hope you didn't have to do that because people were pestering you. Seriously

  • @CaptainBluebear08 I think I know what you were referring to. Police oppression is the last thing I want, but that kind of behaviour is not the way. Anyway, the majority of people over there were partisan, look, they've got Obama on their side, c'mon, this is not "little guy vs. the establishment". Of course, also many peaceful protesters who believe in their cause. I hope I understood your question correctly. PS: Sorry I made you quit my friendship.

  • And solar panels require blasting mountains for minerals. Solar panels and wind turbines don't just appear out of nowhere.

  • @vanderbilt887 Are you pro-nuclear?

  • In case of nuclear fusion: when nuclear waste isn't a problem and no CO2 nor any other pollutants are released, no problemo.

In case of nuclear fission: I'm not in favor of it, as

    1. the uranium required isn't going to last forever (80 years or so)

    2. radio-active waste management is a problem

    3. the risks are real

    4. we could do much better by using other energy sources (which I mentioned)

Why not solve the energy problem directly by using renewables? See also: tinyurl com ycux9f7

  • And the Dutch cops send 13 'pigmobile' busses to Copenhagen. Ain't the development of federal European police repression just a swell thing.

  • hey stimulator. can u do more video bashing of alex jones & ron paul?

  • they arent the problem

  • Well, "COP 15" says it all, don't it.

  • thx Stimulator

as always very enlightening and informative

  • stimulator, you keep getting better.

I do my best to get the word out too....

    Happy winter solstice!

  • I used to spread Ayds (as opposed to aid's or AIDS or even Ayd's), the appetite suppression sensation of the 1980s.

  • pollution is bad. global governance is worse. Something in the middle would be reasonable. i love the musical interludes you always drop in yer vids. supporting artists ftw.

  • I disagree about what you said about socialism, but I like your show.

  • I think it;s both capitalism and corporatism that needs buried.

  • We support dictators in Africa. That's why they're so poor. Same for indonesia, middle east and some south america democracy.

  • Comment removed

  • I misread your comment woop de do, so what if we found 3rd world leaders? dictators or not they need food and running water, you can't stop an evil dictatorship wile the people have empty stomachs. if we weren't in the middle east we'd be in south America and a few spots in Africa like Somalia taking out their dictators like we did to saddam.

  • You'll be in Portland? I'll try to check it out !

  • lumber industry is already done!

  • Thanks. Outstanding as always.

  • i don't understand if you knew someone had a knife and meant harm and stated their complete lack of any human compassion or their inability to feel on an emotional level.you would do something right

So when a corporate doctrine and open public speech set capital above all and we all know these corporations trump any legal liability or possible and cannot be so trusted because 7 BOARDROOMS DONT FUCKIN TRUMP THE TOTALITY OF HUMAN PROGRESS

Their doctrine is greed, we stand STILL

  • Economic revolution! Break from the system. It thrives on your dependence.

  • HEY!!!, The number one emmiter of co2 in the world is the military industrial complex!!!! You have got to look outside your neighborhoods for the truth. Suv's are a drop in the bucket compaired to tanks, jet fighters, and the massave support system to keep the who machine running.>>>> THINK>>>>>>>>>

I appreicate you info pipeline into my life. I am not alone! Thanks

  • I completely agree with organjic in that capitalism is not the problem here. It is corporatism that is causing so much harm. Capitalism can be restrained, contained, maintained, and directed while corporatism is a wild, berserking force that could very well cause our extinction.

  • Let us have a rat race in labyrinth rather than on open space cos then we don't have to explain the final goal of it at all.

  • Sorry, but capitalism needs buried.

  • @episteme420

Good ol' Mark Twain had some right to talk, as a champion adversary of capitalism and imperialism.

O, and btw : "Denial ain't just a river in Egypt." (M. Twain)

  • Strikes, workplace occupations, sabotages and acts of vandalism.

Property can't feel shit, I asked it ;)

  • Second thoughts about this channel. Why? Your opposition to these issues are the same as mine but you have NO SOLUTIONS!!!!

Typical sheeping anarchist, blaming capitalism again...

    ITS CORPORATISM!!!!!

You did not "stimulate" me with this episode.

  • When America is the riches country then it is capitalism, when it creates growth then it is capitalism.

    Decide!

  • Do some math and quit repeating things you've heard other tell you. Norway, Switzerland, and Luxemburg are easily "richer" if we go by GNP per capita. As a nation we've essentially been bankrupt since the mid 1970s; since when did wealth mean being in debt up to your eyeballs? The US is a debtor nation with the average household debt about 120% of the average Americans income. That's wealth? LOL. The US is piss poor hoping nobody asks us to pay down the credit card debt. Educate yourself.

  • Thanks buddhagem for correcting me. This was not that kind of argument but it is good to be correct anyway.

I was attacking the concept that anything American that is good it because of capitalism (sometimes republic) and all the bad things are on government. Because there can't be corporatism without government. You know how this all goes.

    No offense man :)

  • I just check on gapminder. The first is Quatar, then Macao(China), Norway, Brunei, Kuwait, Singapore then it is the USA in 2007 if we go by GDP per capita.

  • Wow! Thanks for the cool reply man.

  • No problem, I kinda surprised myself a little. lol.

''My'' country has gone through religious war and shock doctrine yet barely some use the word capital//ist/ism. At least it is not taboo here. Students have occupied some faculties and I saw AS graffiti saying :''Plenums on the workplaces'' so there is some action. ''We'' don't bother much with climate change since we've destroyed almost all our industry in privatization.

Maybe I'll get to tape some action.

  • Capitalism breeds corporatism breeds more corporate capitalism elsewhere.

Where do you think the corporations came from? Mars? Most started out as small innovative businesses somewhere, accumulated a large amount of capital, and then bought other businesses and the government.

Allowing people to accumulate unlimited power in form of capital will lead to the same result again if we start from scratch. It's not really any different from nation states conquering each other, presto superpower.

  • If people took to the streets like in 2003 against the Iraq war but over climate changes issues and it is simultaneous and ongoing they will not be able to ignore this so easily.

Peace and solidarity to the MuthaF**kin Resistence

  • I think "capitalist pigs" might mean 'corporatist' involved in "corporatism". At least thats how I translate the meaning and apply it. In myopinion you are totally correct about "corportatism".

  • It's still capitalism.

Property "rights" isn't freedom. It's denying access to resources which belong to all of us. Thus, property is theft.

  • @bjarczyk You are obviously economically illiterate. I suggest you look into The Tragedy Of The Commons before seeking to throw away everything that makes life good in our age

  • "makes life good in our age"

    ?????

i don't even know where to begin dismantling this delusion.

  • Were also the biggest debtor nation in the world. We have to borrown hundereds of billions to preserve our way of life.

  • i would gladly give up my (borrowed) computer if we could all live sustainably.

  • yeah, I also cannot believe some people have a life that is good. why don't they see, like we do, that everything is fucked and they should be depressed and suicidal?

  • @chris3443 Funny, you seem to be ignorant of this years Nobel Prize Laureate, Elinor Olstrom who's works completely destroy the "Tragedy of the Commons" and guess what? Unlike Hardin who simply made up an imaginary commons and ignored the actual history of them, Olstrom based her work on empirical research. That is, she has proven that commons can and historically have been well managed despite your illusions to the contrary. Who's economically illiterate now? I guess that would be you. Learn.

  • If you are arguing against private property, please prove your point and kindly pass me your wallet and credit cards.

  • Hey Mr. Economic Illiterate, how about you recognize the fact that the winner of this years Nobel Prize in Economics won based on work that debunks your tired cliche argument? How about that? How about you recognize that you're the one who is economically illiterate? How about you recognize that historically/empirically commons have been successfully managed? Or would you just just like to pretend you're not an ignorant douche bag?

  • Funny how you don't even know what I'm arguing against because you're so economically illiterate you probably haven't even read Olstrom's work. Not surprising. Maybe you should educate yourself. Why not read another nobel laurate's work, Joseph Stiglitz on how markets are inefficient? Crazy, huh? And regarding my wallet and credit cards, douche bag, those are posesions, not private property. But then why would I expect you to know that?

  • Sorry to rain on your parade Mr. Economically illiterate, but I simply pointed out that the lady who won the Nobel Prize in economics won for her work on how the commons have been successfully managed. Funny that you're ignorant of her and her work and still mouth the imbecelic arguments of Garret Hardin who, unlike Olstrom, simply made up a make-believe commons and then based his argument on it. Refute one piece of evidence that Olstrom provides in her work or admit you're illiterate.

  • what do you expect? half the people watching this are still sheep in wolf's clothing, "save the trees" (so homeless people can't have shelter),"save the world form global warming"(unless we are gods that isn't going to happen, the earth shifts in temperature decade by decade get with the facts.) "Over throw the government!" (so you can trade the monsters you know with the monsters you don't know).

  • Go watch some more alex jones. Turn every little thing into a conspiracy.

  • Nsewx, there isn't any point giving these people rational argument, you might as well just post a few ignorant comments back to them about driving SUVs and pouring draino into the local rivers and let them get all angry and in a tiff ;) Anyways, I'm out to shoot some deer and eat at McDonald's, bye!

  • Sounds like you have yourself pretty figured out. I'm not wasting my time with you either.

  • Yeah i'm going to smoke a few co2 producing cigarettes and eat a few ribs from a sacred cow tonight, then I'll have a bit of bacon and eggs in the morning. wipe my ass on commie rhetoric printed from this page then beat up a few trees just for fun.
