Dear Friends of KK. DoorDarshan(DD) songs of KK are not live.The Reason --Kishoreda did not want to Sing the Songs for Congress after they banned him on AIR/DD.Film Producers used to pester KK ki Please go to DD and ur banned would be lifted.He resisted till Kalyanji-Anandji told him Ki Kishoreda aap Gayegay nahi per fir be Gayegay.Kishore said yeh kya Tikdam kar rahe ho aap dono.This idea was revealed to him on DD studios itself.Dear Anand ji told me this recently.God Bless KK's Honesty

After ARADHNA Kishore Kumar became popular and when Kalyanji-Anandji started composing for KK, their best came out in Johny mera naam,Sachha jutha,Safar,Kora kagaz and many more. KA previously did fantastic work in the sixties with Lata-Mukesh and Rafi.

yes someone has superimposed the original track on the video - But he had sung it live in the program !
This was a statge show Kishoreda did for DD ! The other songs in this program are on the youtube and you can celarly see that he sang live in all of them!

This does not seem to be a studio recording, but the song is true to the original recorded version because the whole orchestra seems to be present, as well as the music directors. If you watch videos of other live performances, you will see Kishore deviating from the original song, also the orchestration is much poorer.
As for lip sync, firstly it seems unnecessary, and secondly I doubt if Kishore da would have agreed to something as lame.

Excellent observation. Kishoreda always deviated in his live concerts slightly especially with his voice modulation. Somebody has replaced the OST with this video
