  • 3:40 the american version of you is...lol

  • Ok, gotta ask. What's the "Tugga, dugga, tugga, dugga..." mean? Ok, masterbation and wha...? I'm guessing it means he 'wanks' then drags on a cigarette. Is that what it means?

    help...

  • @ybmagpye Wilfred says that every time Adam's last name is said. The character's name is Adam Douglas, and at the end of the first season he tells Wilfred the story of how he was caught wanking at boarding school.

So, Wilfred says, "tugga dugga dugga" to joke about it.

  • @TheWallsTalkBack

I know he says 'Tugga dugga' to joke. I want to know what 'Tugga Dugga' means. Is it slang? I'm guessing 'tugga' refers to masterbating, but the meaning of 'dugga' escapes me. Is it all some sort of Aussie slang? What does it mean?

  • @ybmagpye It's not Aussie slang.

As you guessed, tugga refers to masturbation. Dugga refers to Douglas - Adam's last name. So...it's a joke, about Adam masturbating...

  • @ybmagpye THE LIGHTS WENT ON, I GET IT! Thanks!

  • muito loco essa série

  • tuuugadugadugadugadugadugaduga

  • no mamas que cagado esta este pinche perro, ja ja ja rifa chingon a ver si no le quita el lugar al perro guarumo por mejor perro XD

  • the fuck is this

  • I wish I had an angry keyboard with a monitor shield and the hard drive of wisdom. We could all go to the valley of FireFox and conquer one YouTube channel at a time until every channel has keyboard warriors fighting over which homeland is better and smarter even though we are all pathetic and stupid.

They may take our accounts, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!

  • australian accents are hot

  • kool didnt know there was an australian remake.

  • @screeem The original series was Australian. It has been adapted for an american audience.

  • why does this remind me of donnie darko?

  • @shorfilmman Why do you wear that stupid man suit?

  • What accents? I don't hear any accents, just a couple of blokes talking normally. Loving the video though. Real good job putting it together. Wilfred is a bloody legend.

  • I think it's awesome that they used the same actor for Wilfred for both shows.

  • "any of you cunts seen shawshank redemption?" I love that line so much... ahh..

  • i'd probably only enjoy this if i'm high. ima try it when i smoke again

  • those 14 dislikes are Australian kangaroos.

  • @kaymly there are any other kinds of kangaroos?

  • LMAO 1:20 best scene ever

  • Well I'm an American and I have no problem with other accents. I do however find it slightly ironic that an American and an Irishman are arguing on youtube over who is dumber while both seem to have issues understanding the difference between "to" and "too" or "their" and "there."

  • The FX show is no question better. Better cast, enough said.

  • all you yanks are retarded the original australian show is better and im irish so im not biased

  • @libertycaps666 tis still biased. accents are odd to get used to for people in america sometimes

  • @davidfromoregon lmao so what?? americans are to dumb to understand accents, you do realize that to the rest of the world you americans have accents to, i live in ireland which is farther away from australia than america is but yet my country can stilll understand there accents perfectly, ya know why?? because we're not retarded

  • @libertycaps666 Hi, I'm an American, you say, "Americans are to dumb to understand accents". I guarantee my knowledge of language, accents, and life in general supersedes your own. How is coming onto youtube and spewing absurd claims working out for you today, moron?

  • @attykon if your knowledge of life in general is so great then you'd know a massive percent of americans cant understands accents or other cultures sense of humour, maybe its because your more ignorant than dumb though lol

  • @attykon there seems to be a touch of irony here.

  • @tashybellgoesrawr There is no irony, my claims aren't absurd you tool.

  • @attykon Irony is defined as the opposite of what is true. In order to NOT perpetuate stereotypes about Americans, I suggest you get a dictionary, use spell check and at this point, I think a fourth grade grammar lesson couldn't hurt. =)

    Have a lovely day,

    Love,

    A Tool.

  • @libertycaps666 i called it BIASED motherfucker not better or worse. it's because of colonization and culture that you talk the way you do. it's more british-derived english for all you guys. it's not like i dont understand them, who the fuck doesn't understand them? but as far as humor goes US wilfred using the real wilfred is fuckin best.

  • @libertycaps666 Alright boyo I just about had it with your comments. I, Patrick O'flaherty will give you such a lashing after I drink my two shilling pint of Bulmers and cause famine to more potatoes

oh I'm American so I'm not biased

  • @ilovetoparty1 hahahaha "two shilling pint of bulmers" see what i mean your all retarded we have euros here dickhead and do you even know what biased means lmao.. but yeah dude tottally awesome im about to go eat 5 cheese burgers and go shoot some guns at my school

  • @libertycaps666 Oviously I know you guys have Euros, your Manky country is the UK's butt slave. your logic is like drunken Arthur Guinness talker on a cold crisp night at the bar. Alright now Boyo put up them dukes in the name of the Tricolour.

  • @ilovetoparty1 What race is that ment to be

  • American version is so much more polished. AUS version is unwatchable.

  • whats your fucking name?? omg thats too funny

  • the uk one is the best but who ever the dog is he is amazing

  • what tha fuck is this!

  • I ment US auto correcter hate it.

  • The UK one is the best

    We have Elijah woods

    XD

  • Search "Roscoe the Party Dog"...

  • Jason Gann in Austrailia= Amazing

    Jason Gann is America= Amazing

Both shows have Jason Gann people, therefore they are both amazing. I would apreciate it if i could watch some wilfred clips without having to read stupid comments. Thank you.

  • I've never seen the Australian version, only the American, but it looks hilarious

  • @juanisimoss its actually messed up how it ends especially

  • hope hes making top dosh for this..

  • why do they show another man in a suite, im sorry to sound like a lame ass but US version ftw

  • The US version has thrown in some strange stuff over the season to confuse the audience as to what is going on. Frodo's crazy mother had a cat that is a woman in a cat suit (like whatever Wilf is), and a couple weeks ago, whenever Wilf appeared the sound track played the little music bit that in the oid movie Harvey was played whenever invisible Harvey was supposed to be in the room. With his Oz accent why does Wilfred not ask to be fed some Vegamite?

  • estados unidos con sus refritos.... y los refritos muy pocas veces son mejores que las originales, de prueba tienen shameless NO AL REFRITO!!!! mmm bueno es de gustos que ni que...

  • idk i like both versions as it stars wilfred as the same person, we made it up so were pretty awesome, but i dont think the american version differs much just in actors

  • the US version is so fucking superior.............nuff said

  • See, the shows are two different shows, the American version has conflict, a story, and above all, confronts the main question: what is Wilfred? As appossed to the Australian version which was just a guy and his dog just hanging out. Both great shows

  • @SethMesser9500 I dont know... To me, the Aussie version doesnt want to answer the question of What is Wilfred. It purposely avoids it and by doing so it leaves the question open for interpretation.. for me, this makes it darker and more captivating. With that said, I do like both versions but after watching the aussie one again, i still think its better..

  • @SethMesser9500 I would''nt know the creator keeps blocking the US version, so much for artistic its all capitolistic.

  • American is better

  • Thumbs up if watching Wilfred makes you want to get stoned!

  • i would love to go to Australia one day...

  • ok. for the record. the us version, is it a total remake of australian show, same story etc. a great idea for a comedy show, which works so well.

  • havnt seen the australian version.....i love the amrerican version...hillarious but a bet the australian version is just as good

  • I want to watch both now :D

  • Lol

  • ok you fuckin assholes can stop judging which country's version is better....yeah Australia is the origin of the show and its funny as hell but America did a remake of the show and yet its funny as hell too so shut the fuck up you guys are stupid and before you go saying which country is greater in my mind there both great being im part australian but i have lived in america for 4 to 5 years

  • We have laws on porn and we used to ban R video games but you can swear on TV and radio here (Australia) its frowned upon by some stations but they hardly cut it. US celebrities relish the chance to swear uninhibited in interviews here "Can I cuss? "Sure"

    Then BAM! :D

Its to the point were people swearing on the primetime news get played unedited

"Yeah that car came flying around the fucking corner and crashed. That shit was crazy!"

"Thank you for those chilling words, now for the weather."

  • Why aren't different countries allowed to share the same humor? it's like saying, no you can't listen to that song, it was made in another country. It doesn't matter what nationality you are, funny is funny, entertainment is entertainment, no need in getting into this stupid debate about which country is better, everyone has their perks and downfalls, just watch the damn show.

  • tugadugadugadugaduga

  • Anyone know where to get the Aussie version on DVD?

  • @00kelevra00 Amazon?

  • tbis show is just being aired in the uk fuck me its funny as fuck

  • @fastonabike woah...you need to calm down

  • @fastonabike Get back under your bridge, troll

  • Im American but i like the aussie version better, Bring it back plz~!

  • 1:26

    BEST MOMENT!

  • i'm gonna miss that cunt

  • I know wilfred has a brother who died at war a mother who abandoned him when he was a pup and a dad that hates him but whats the whole dog costume thing and why can only adam see him for how he really is? its fricken mind blowing

  • @timmyisthefly He's a real dog.

  • @Deppaddicted No he isnt hes a human and thats why he can talk but everyone sees him as a dog

  • @timmyisthefly Uh no, he's a real dog. The main guy is the only one who sees him (and hears him) as a human in a dog suit, otherwise he is a regular dog to everyone else. A regular, 7-year-old dog. It's like an inside look at how a dog would be if it looked like a human. Notice how he does everything a dog does, with the added pot smoking and such (which is what should be mind blowing).

  • @Deppaddicted So adams just messed up in the head?

  • @timmyisthefly Yeah, I guess you could say that.

  • I love being an Aussie & I enjoyed the US when I've been but some of the comments about Australia here are crazy. Calling Australians convicts is about as accurate and relevant as saying Americans wear giant buckles on their hats, sure it happened but it doesn't speak to the majority of Aussies ancestry.

Australia is the UK's Texas!? WTF is that?! What does that make you? What language do you speak? FYI You dont need a war to be independent. The queen's on coins, but has no power here any more.

  • @Hinderz "The queen's on coins but has no power here any more" Yeh no worries mate, thats what i love about my fellow australians, the ignorance. Go ask Gough Whitlam if the queen has any power. In fact she has power not only here but in many other countries including the good ol' USA. Start waking sheep

  • @Kostas2788 Ah Gough, that ol chestnut. The Executive through the GG (who is picked by the PM) can call for a democratic election if there is a stalemate and an ineffective government, which then puts the power in the hands of the Australian Public NOT the Queen. Gough would have remained in power had it been the will of the Australian people in '75, but Fraser was elected. Then the Australia Act (1986) established Australian independence. So what power does the queen have? My point remains...

  • lol wanking!

  • Americans have to remake everything. Look what happened with Skins, they couldnt even handle the swearing or the sex so they cancelled it, how can they remake any show when they cant even handle swearing?

  • @isabel3291 that was just because of the network that remade it, which is MTV. fucking horrible garbage. the network "FX" remade Wilfred and i've seen some good shows on there, so i am looking forward to seeing the American remake.

  • @isabel3291 Lol? Read up on your information you dumb ass. The American version of "Skins" got cancelled because of underage sex. Not because of sex in general and especially not because of swearing. Oh yeah btw, how come the American version of "Wilfred" went over with wayyyyyy higher rating than the Australian version. Don't even disagree with facts you racist bitch.

  • the mismatched accents add to the humor and surrealism in the American version.

If it was some American actor as Wilfred, I'd think "oh, it's just some guy in a suit."

The Aussie accent is a constant reminder that the main character has lost his mind.

  • @aallppiinnee

    >>implying man in dog suit is perfectly normal

  • American version is outrageously out of control funny as hell! Best show on television right now.

  • i like the american wilfred more....

  • Im Australian, I spent 6 months in Colorado in 05/06, then did another trip to the U.S in 09 and I'm planning another for next year, you will find that 99.99% of the dickhead Australians here talking shit to the Americans have never actually been to the U.S its almost always the case when I hear someone badmouthing Americans, I ask "have you actually been there?" the answer is always "no but blah blah blah" STFU you can't pass judgement of a country, a culture or anything without experiencing it

  • @matthew91fuller You know, it's the damnedest thing, isn't it? Months ago, I was linked to some song by Bliss n Eso, and there was NOTHING but anti-American sentiment. As far as I could tell, there was no instigator, they were all just going on "oi ill fucken fight u u american cunt" and "lay off the macdonald's fatties". It's all ironic, because one of the guys from Bliss n Eso is from the US.

  • @matthew91fuller so true, I have been to the States 3 times now and love the place and the people, they are a breed of there own the America's but you got to love em. I would move there in a hart beat !

  • @81trm ...Whereas..I am in America and would move to Australia in that same heartbeat...Wanna trade???

  • @matthew91fuller You're exactly right.

  • @matthew91fuller Sure ya can, no different to people judging a person at first glance. Wether its right or not is the issue. And you shouldnt just fob of someones opinion because they havnt been there.

Dosnt make them less valid, just means theyre less informed. Shouldnt try and make out that peoples opinions are invalid.

  • @sinnsmd I think it defiantly makes their opinion less valid. Is my opinion on someones health as valid as say their Dr's opinion? No its not because I'm less informed, and I don't have the knowledge or experience to back up my opinion where he/she does. Also passing judgement at first glance is different to going out of your way to publicly voice those judgements, have an opinion and voicing it are two different things. One can be derogatory, hurtful and embarrassing, the other can't.

  • @matthew91fuller

Some very good points, id be retarded ta try say otherwise lol. That being said people still have valid points even if they havnt been there. I dont have to experience war ta say its stupid and a waste of life etc.. :)

  • @matthew91fuller I moved to Australia from the US in 2008. Australia is a much better country in every way.

  • I'm an American, I've been to Australia. I have several Australian friends. Most of these negative comments about Americans and America are in direct contrast to the hospitality I witnessed fromq

  • I met wilfred one day :D my 2 year old brother had no idea why there was a guy dressed as a dog drinking some coffee haha :)

  • americans gotta take off our shit too..wankers!! Get your own humor..

  • @halfcookedwilson We only take the good stuff. Haha. You guys take all our crap like Australian Idol.

  • @halfcookedwilson You're welcome for giving you more Wilfred.

  • 5:46 - my new way of saying goodbye when somebody leaves my house

  • "whats you're fucking name?"

i love how they done that scene

  • awesome show period.

  • Why did Jim Schembri of the Sydney Morning Herald criticise it being broadcast in 16:9? Isn't pretty much everything broadcast in 16:9?

  • Ooooh, so it's a British show (Australia is basically their Texas and India their Mexico) that explains a lot. I like both though.

  • weird

  • I think both versions of the show are incredibly funny. The concept of the show itself is different than anything i've seen.

  • frodo ruins the american version

  • "America blahblahblah."

    "Australia blahblahblah."

    "The original Australian show blahblahblah."

"The American version is so blahblahblah."

Christ, Youtube, you're so one note with negativity.

  • @BlueMaxx86 Your negative comment doesn't exactly help either...

  • @BlueMaxx86 its basicly a channel for peoples misreables lives to manifest

  • The American version contains a lot more hilarity as compared to this.

  • Which version is better? US or Australian? Or are they both equally funny?

  • @EPICsliceOFcake theyre both hillarious!

  • @EPICsliceOFcake from what I've the concept work's quite well from both series but I am familiar with Elijah Wood so I feel more care for his Ryan then that dude Andy

  • @EPICsliceOFcake I think they just appeal to the diffrent sensibilities of their countries people. I'm Australian and I prefer the Australian version over the American one, mainly due to the fact that I dislike Ryan (he's a massive pussy).

  • @EPICsliceOFcake I've heard that the US version is actually still really funny, however some of the swearing has been takin' out, along with Wilfred smoking his bong constantly, haha.

  • @colin4393 Wilfred still has his bong in the US version.

  • @colin4393 Kind of ironic since Australia is know for having such strict censor boards.

  • @EPICsliceOFcake That's true. Not as strict as the US though...

  • lol @Jeff41a - you are the eptiome of the uninformed american, you're suggesting the population of America is more diverse than Australia? lolsville.

  • @aarondirt - That is not exactly what I was getting at, but, since you brought it up, you bet. Check the facts. The U.S. has more immigrants from more countries. More languages spoken. More diversity in religion. A population that has a larger percentage of individuals being of more than one ethnicity. Etc., etc.

  • @Jeff41a I think you need to check the facts my friend, before advising me to do so

  • @aarondirt - hahaha, I know the facts.

  • @Jeff41a

Actually you don't know the facts if you're trying to say the USA isn't more ethnically diverse than Australia...

Australia is overwhelmingly white, somewhere around 90% if memory serves me correctly. The US on the other hand is a little less than 75% white. That alone should be indication enough that the US is significantly more diverse in ethnicity.

Now whether or not multiculturalism is more celebrated in Australia vs the US could be an entirely different thing.

  • @itdoell I find stats after I take a shit too.

  • @aarondirt Well seeing as how I (the typical ignorant American) Will probably never go to Australia I honestly haven't had the desire to look past "crocodile" Dundee and and Foster's ad's it's not because I have an issue or think we are better then you, in anyway. I know this much about Australia England sent prisoner's there, and their version of indians were really black, and I dont know much else. but I don't need to because everything I do will always be here

  • Actually mr. Autistic Cuckoo did you know that the founding fathers of our country formed a little thing called the hellfire club which at the time was an atheist only club where they sat around and made fun of how stupid Christians are? If I could get away with it I'd kill every religious person on the planet.

  • Is this version available anywhere online?

  • This fkn sucks !!! Fuck Australia and there stupid outback steakhouse they always put too much sauce in my alfreado. And those stupid fkn kangaroos and shit fuck u australua. And shut up before I nuke ur ass

  • @xpurpx44 you're one of the reasons I'm ashamed to be American...wow....just wow. You my retarded friend, wrote one of the most "special" comments ever written. Please, leave America, your the reason people think Americans are all racist dumb rednecks...

  • @xDeadMisfitsx you should be proud to be an American. You should be disgusted that you have to share such a great country with a twit like xpurpx44. He has the right to his opinion even if it is infantile and ignorant. xpurpx44 is obviously young and lacks education and exposure to the world outside of his hometown.

  • Who is this other dog?

  • I like both versions, people need to chill. The two versions are distinct because the main characters, ryan and adam, are different. While ryan is a little pussy learning to be a man, adam was a man learning to cope with a weed smoking dog. Wilfred the dog is always the same and great, so watching how different people interact with him is why both are great!

  • American chicks love Aussie blokes. I had more fun reading the bullshit below than actually watching the you tube clip. America is a nice place to visit. Australia is a great place to live. I have to say I prefer American versions of some shows. I like the office U.S. But I like the office U.K. They are very different shows. I have seen advertising for this show Wilfred on my iPad i guess it got to me so I better check it out.

  • the american version is so much better!

  • FUUUUUCCCCCK! everybody shutup with this bullshit about whether the American version or the Australian version is better, because they are both the same! the Australians have to realize that the American version is better looking because Americans are good at producing the show and the way they filmed it was alot better compared to the Australian version which was a little slow. But the Americans have to realize that it is still written by the same guy (Jason Gann) who is Australian! so shut up!

  • bragging to make your self feel better huh? i just wanna say i love this show and jason gann is a funny mother fucker!! great show!

  • I just want to say, my name is Adam. I have a huge dong, and I'm popular with the ladies!!!!

  • Why do American's re-do every show? Always gets worse, no originality.

  • @sydneymassive Ok first off how about you look at the creators of most american remakes. Jason Gann and Adam Zwar are the creators of both versions. And same goes for Ricky Gervais and The Office so please think about shit before you comment on youtube. BTW i'm not even American.

  • wow you guys dont get it!!! AMERICAN humour is funnier to AMERICANS then Australian humour while AUSTRALIAN humour is funnier to AUSTRALIANS then american humour.sooo steryotypical. i for one am australian and find them both hilarious, now stop having gay ass comment wars on youtube and go enjoy life ffs who gives a shit what anyone says they must have no life if they have time to argue on the internet.

  • The Australian version is hilarious, the US remake is hilarious. Gann is universal. How in the world did they get Elijah Wood to play Ryan, lol

  • @political0083 Indeed frodo in a stoner comedy

  • @political0083 Elijah nows good material

  • @political0083 i mean you'd get tired of being famous for playing a hairy-footed short guy in a land of magic and sorcery too

  • @political0083 they tickled his ball sack and told them he could have a bone. not the kind you chew mother fucker

  • @political0083 cause the only job he had since the lord of the rings was spy kids 3

  • @doddy34 Woods has been working, loved his character in Sin City.

  • @picklesfactory i know but he hasnt done much

  • 240p, really?

  • Wait, where was the funny part? Or was is suppose to?

    Australians are strange.

  • @VikingBlud You judge Australians on Wilfred, I'll judge Americans on swamp people and Jerry Springer.

  • @71006374 wilfred is funny dude. dont c why u gota judge to begin with... and yes swamp people gives americans a bad rep but who cares , its fun to watch em ..

  • @TheFishhawk13 Wilfred is a great show, period. But, why does Swamp People give Americans a bad reputation? That is how people in those parts of the country make a living. Just because it isn't your way of life doesn't make it wrong. I don't want to do what they do, but I surely don't look down on them for doing it. That's just plain ignorant.

  • @71006374 i fuckin' love swamp people. totally shows off america's powerful school systems.

ps...im american :) but seriously who gives a fuck where whos from? we're all human aren't we?

  • @aquatik13 I truly wish all Americans thought like you!!!

  • @aquatik13 I served with some americans when I was in Iraq. I have so much respect. Great people.
