What an awful end to that season. Eddie McFlippinGoldrick getting the away goal at Ewood then the teams total demise at Selhurst in the 2nd leg. Still never forgiven Sellars for vanishing that day.
I was at this game. I remember I was ready to leave when we were losing 3-1 due to a combination of the score and the pissing rain. Luckily I stayed to see one of the great games of that era of the Rovers. That said, got out arse bit off by Palace in the play-offs: pffff
