technically that's not true, microsoft has ometimes changed the internal components of the 360 and, if since your talking about the PS3 and the PS3 slim (and saying microsoft never did anything like this) I would like to draw your attention to the three variants of the 360 (four if you the original core model). And it's not that the Ps3 is great, it's that Sony loves money and squeezing iot from people in as many different ways as possible, like many other companies.

@halo12031 In reality the Ps3 beats the 360 hands down. Well when you compare the specs. (Not comparing them now by the way) Ps3 is a great system and so is the 360. If you enjoy movies you'd get a Ps3 for it's blu-ray and of course you get to play games too. If you get a 360 you're gonna get a huge library of games at your disposal. But i'd never think you'd get a crap ton of games on either system if the game genre that attracts you is Fps'.

Actually, they aren't better. PS3 focuses on textures, Xbox focuses on lighting. Pretty much the same graphics card in both consoles.
