I may not listen actively to all those bands anymore, but since you said this a year ago we have very similar taste in metal. But I moved on to mostly black metal. Where you at now?

As a guitarist, i've noticed things Gojira do that i've never heard other bands do. Sometimes there will be a riff, then another one, they will go back to the original, but change it slightly, slowing one or two parts of it down, and its this that makes them one of my favourite bands.
