Excellent job, perfect acting. And you don't need a Scottish accent, look at the way my hs did it...to get the younger students interested in the works of Shakespeare, they made it Goth style with Sex Pistols music. Changed words but never meaning. PS/This was two years ago....the Midd & High School have continual check outs of prior dusty Macbeth books...they want to learn the real words.

Lol, I have something against every Lady Macbeth or Macbeth that doesn't have a Scottish accent, since it is set in Scotland. I'm doing the scene when she thinks she is washing her hands and is in a trance. But really struggling on the accent.... Any acting tips?

If your preference is acted upon, then do we extrapolate from that & do AYLI w a French accent or Shrew w an Italian accent? IMHO, Shakespeare wrote the plays to all be performed in English in the accents of his day be they upper or lower class accents. At the RSC, they advised just doing it in one's true voice.

Advice: avoid an accent especially if it is not a strong point. The trance scene is overdone & Lady M is usually a "mature" role. Make sure you would be cast in the role today.

Hey there.

Yes, it's cut internally. Audition pieces in many situations are timed and I like to come in well under time. Also, as a director, I prefer to see SHORT well packed pieces than long ineffective ones.
