Honestly, these devices were brilliant. Sadly, people didn't see them as PDAs so much as expensive toys. I absolutely love my Casio Zoomer, and my Newton.

You're welcome. I think you'd be surprised how good this handwriting recognition is on the Newton OS 2.0 and Newton OS 2.1 compared to what you can find today. The accuracy rates possible are just as good as anything else you can find today.
