Met Trix Rabbit creator Joe Harris earlier this year at the Anthrocon furry convention. He told of the creation of the character and I pointed out one reason it was so successful was that kids were always told no, you can't do that, can't have that...but they CAN have Trix. _The rabbit can't._ Instant power!

Joe said he didn't like the idea of the T.R. getting the Trix once in awhile; spoiled the concept. Why bother.

Probably 1960; Mort Marshall is the voice of the "Rabbit" (later, he was the voice of "Stanley Livingston" on "TENNESSEE TUXEDO AND HIS TALES", and "Klondike Kat" on "THE UNDERDOG SHOW", both sponsored by General Mills). A :15 second ad for another "Big G" cereal {Cocoa Puffs, perhaps?} originally followed this one...
