In the video as he's coming off the last turn me and my son were sitting at the top corner of the stands. you could see that he was going to get around him if he could get some room. We coulldn't see who won because the rooster tails that those three cars were throwing out. The were all gettin it.. It was a great finish..
That was a crazy race. I think they kept switching between wet and dry tires due to intermittent showers. Blundell was on slicks, while DeFerran was running wet tires. As for the baseball scores, that was an early version of the "Bottom Line." It ran (and still runs) during all ESPN2 broadcasts.
