All it is is cubic dollars. Theres 100's of drivers in the world that are better than her, and some of the "top" drivers in racing. But since they dont have the funding, nor the exposure they will never get to the highest forms of motorsports. And she is a girl makes it sooo much easier. If she was a guy she would never have been seen. Not saying she isnt good, just saying if she wasnt a girl she wouldnt be were she is. Its like Dale Jr. if he wasnt Sr's kid he would be a nobody.

Danica has a weight advantage in Indy??? DING! DING! Wrong! Shows how much you know! That ruling was changed! The cars and drivers have to weigh the same! Referred to as the "Danica Ruling", which was brought in as a result of her being lighter than the other drivers, and as such had a weight advantage! The rule was changed to ensure that all of the cars and drivers were on level footing!

Well she holds her own in a man's world! And given that she is smaller and lighter than her male counterparts is a mute point, should be a disadvantage, yet it is not! Why? Because she works hard at being fit & strong! And her being overrated? Dream on! No one goes to the Indy 500, leads laps, runs top fives and qualifies near the front by being overrated! Jackie Stewart says she is for real! And if he says so you can bet on it! (If you know who he is of course!)

Danica Patrick is simply the finest female racecar driver in history. If she can challenge for the lead, and finish 3rd in the Indianapolis 500, she can certainly handle the Nationwide series, She just has to get used to driving slower, and "swapping paint".

I remember AJ Foyt winning Indy. Rocket Rick Mears...Danika is the goods. She'll do fine whatever ride she's in.

How many races did Michael Waltrip go before he got his 1st Cup win? How many races since Earnhart Jr's last? Do you have Any IDEA how difficult it is to win at the top level of this sport? Dave Marcus won 5 races in 24 years. Jimmy Spencer won a Whopping 2 races in his career. Shall I list the Hundreds who Never won a race at this level?

Forget what my profile says, I'm "of a certain age" and still race competitively. Look at the date on my page, I opened it as a sock profile when I was "in disguise" I'm Crusader18, one of the 1st 100,000 to upload on YouTube. I've been through 8 profiles and this one remains. I just never changed it much. But I did upload videos of what I race. Ever been 160mph on the water...with 8 other boat...on a 1 mile oval?

And I'm sure that the average weight of a male indycar driver is about 160lbs, so the difference is negligeble. But you you tell yourself what you have to to justify your belief.

So tell me: How does the "Most OVER-RATED driver in sports history" finish 5th in series points behind 4th Helio Castro Neves, 3rd Ryan Briscoe, 2nd Scott Dixon, 1st Dario Franchitti? 50 maybe 60 cars show up at Indy in May, 33 get to start the race. Everywhere they race they have more qualifiers than spots in the field. When was the last time this woman DNQed? She is Without Question qualified to race NASCAR. What excuse will you make when she wins there?

Apparently you also missed the part where I said the average male INDYCAR DRIVER is probably around 150-160lbs. They're LITTLE JOCKEYS! If you dont know-dont say-then you dont look dumb. There MAY be 1 driver who weights 200lbs(MAY) but I doubt it. Racers in General are small.

Then why are you arguing with me? I didnt say anything about the cars. Everyone knows the cars have to weigh the same. But Danica (up until last year) had a weight break of anywhere between 35 and 75lbs. Most Nascar drivers weigh more than that on average.

Regardless, great drivers win races. Great drivers dont only win 1.1% of the time.

Yeah you did. Your original said that she has a weight advantage of 75-150 lbs. Meaning she was on the track 150lbs lighter than then rest. Well we Know that's wrong, You said you were wrong...All that's left is her "overratedness". I remember Janet Guthrie, and Shirley Muldowney, now Ashley Force, Angel Savoe, and Yes Danika and Sara Fisher. Danika has gone farther, and on a much more diffucult path than any of them. Until this year she was the only woman to even last a season at this level.

That said and let's say you were right(which you arent) I'm a race driver. Been driving since before you were born probably. You say "she gets 75-150 weight advantage" - OK, so even With that weight advantage you say, How does she compete? How does this "untalented overrated" woman qualify every week? The weight avantage only matters if All Other Things Are Equal... LIKE SKILLS.How many INDY drivers have died since her Rookie year? If Danika were as untalented as you say She'd be Dead by now.

Well when I said 75-150lbs I was thinking Nascar. Many of those drivers weigh OVER 200lbs. Danica only weighs 100lbs.

@dahoss65 All that means is her pitcrew will have to fight her battles. In Sprint Cup and Nationwide her low bodyweight will be a disadvantage. During a 300-600 mile race inside a 135 degree car you tend to sweat buckets. Also, most of the NASCAR guys are shrimps too. Carl Edwards and Michael Waltrip being the only 2 I can think of offhand over 6'. Mark Martin is 5'5"...Most of them are shrimps. They only look tall because they're All shrimps. The Majority would be Under 200lbs.
