I say costs some money because there is depth to the digital resolution which is why it sounds so warm yet full bandwidth. So much youtube of great art sounds terrible. Aye! this Mashup (Audio) was made with Protools 6.9 software (Digidesign). Tracks are 12" version of BB and the acapella track of DC. Unfortunalety there is no instrumental version of BB avaiable, so the 12" was used, it contains some "instrumental" parts with no voice. The bassline was edited then to create a variation for the verse, the original part of the bassline for the bridge. The acapella was timestreched to match BB´s trackspeed (both have similar BPM)

Most of the DC acapella was edited, this was the hardest part for me, because the original voice sounds "offbeat" in some regions together with the BB track. Now it has a better "flow" The last process was mixed down and a add a little bit of reverb and delay to the pella. Plz visit my profile, there is a short "making of" video of the track. Someone here on Youtube told me, I didn´t produce the Mashup. Thats not true and the reason, why I upload the "making of"!!

In my humble opinion it was better to put no vocals of Jimmy S. in this mix. All my Mashup´s are produced like this: Instrumentals (if available) combined with vocals of another track. I dont like putting vocals over vocals, that sounds odd in my opinion.
