  • I can't think of any other instrument with such a beatufil, clear sound. But every instrument is only as good as the person playing it. And this is just great

  • Dude, that was really as sweet as Les Paul playing Over the Rainbow!

  • Sweeeeeeet!!! great inturpitaion..

  • Great!

  • Very reminiscent of Mike Auldridge's playing, especially on Tony Rice's California Autumn album.

  • It's fantastic I love the sound of everything you do

  • ...an absolutely beautiful arrangement! You've captured the subtleties of his picking technique and slides perfectly and with great feeling...Carlos would be impressed! Gruesse aus Connecticut!

  • Hallo, hallo, hallo, Gänsehaut wie beim Original!

  • Wow! I'm floored! I need a beer and time to sit and think about this. Nice !

  • Carlos Santana on a dobro played lap steel-style is quite possibly the best thing ever. Excellent playing, very mellow and relaxed.

  • Wonderful! do you have instructional classes?

  • Martin, this is absolutely beautiful. Still loving the strap you made for me too..thanks again:)

  • Amazing!

Do you think is possible to play this on regular slide style on a roundneck?

  • @caralhosvosfodam

use the same tuning GBDGBD low to high and give it a try !

    cheers

  • @MartinGross I use the standard open G, DGDGBD, to tune in GBDGBD shall I tune the low D to G, and the low G to B?

  • wieso hälst du die gitarre so schief ?

  • Immer wenn er einen im Tee hat hält er die Gitarre schief.

  • Hi - echt cool -gruss aus Erlangen - winni

  • Bravo!

  • Yo Martin,

looks like the string spacing is narrow on that Rayco. How do you find that compared to the 'horn, the Meredith and the Jones? Easier to play, harder, or not much different?

  • what tuning is that?

  • DylanLiane,

    this is regular G tuning.

DBGDBG ( high to low )

  • The best technique on the right hand ever!

Not to mention everything else it takes to produce this kind of........um.......cool stuff

  • I used to know Santana's version, yours gives something more to this tune!

    Great! Really great!

    Congrats!

    Greetings from Paris,

    Chris
