I'm a Cardinals fan, and I respect his decision. I didn't badmouth him, and it angers me to hear about so-called Cardinals fans burning his jersey and trashing his name. I know this decision wasn't easy for him, but I feel he's doing what he thinks is best for his career. I'm also glad the Cardinals didn't spend all their money on one player. I'm sad to see him go, but I will continue to follow his career in LA. I will always be a fan of Pujols, and I wish him the best of luck with the Angels.

That is the reason he is so beloved, because he had loyalty, and in return STL gave him loyalty forever. That is why we are so pissed at Pujols, he lied to STL, we were loyal to him and in return he spit in our face and turned his back on us. Pujols will never be comparable to Stan the man anymore.

He's still my favourite player no matter where he plays. In my opinion players in all of these sports leagues are overpaid, but if a team offered you $254 million dollars over 10 years after becoming an offensive and defensive threat for your whole 11 year career would you turn it down? In the end it's a business like most or all professional sports, and the Angels were able to snatch him up, good for them. The next season should be an interesting one.

I say good riddance. $220 million for a guy who is going to be good for maybe 5 more years? That would be a waste of $100 million. Now, the Cradinals can move Berkman to 1st who had a great season,they still have Freese, Molina, Carpenter, Wainwright, Craig, and Holliday. With all the money the cardinals save, they can shop around for an all-star pitcher. The Cardinals will still be a force to be recokned with even without Pujols. Pujols' postseason? Overall, he batted around .352 (24-68) with 8 doubles, 5 HR, 12 walks, and an on-base percentage around .463. He also had 16 RBI and 15 runs scored. That's pretty great if you ask me.

My complete admiration for him was not just for him bringing two World Series to our team (not his team), but also for his character.
