@alphazebraful you can use water material you wish. the first ghillies were made from dyed scraps of old material and vegatation. potatoe sacks here are made of burlap. also hardware/landscaping stores sell rolls. here we have lowes and home depot and i buy the big rolls there

you can add part of a tarp behind it to waterproof your backpack or you could buy a rain cover for it and attach your ghillie cover
