@abner209209 I don't think the supercharger really added any sound to my car other than the mild "supercharger whine" and the blow off valve or surge valve sound. Most of the sound from my car is from the exhaust system I have. Headers, hiflow cats, magnaflow cat-back. etc. And of course its a V8. I've heard a V6 with a exhaust system and its definetly louder than stock but to be honest I don't think it will sound as loud as a V8.

@LongBeachPits562 Thanks man, yea that's the only thing I dont like about this model is that weird rattling sound you hear in idle. It goes away when you're not in idle but still.

@LongBeachPits562 Yea I called ProCharger and they said some are louder than others, it's because of the straight cut gears. They said it would get a little less loud over time. And that video is almost 3 years old. It has gotten better and I never had a problem with the blower.

Hey Joe it's chris Aka cdd75pa anyway I got my supercharger done with the 392 stroker! Problem ! Keeping the car at idle in drive! I know that the diablo is limited but not being able too adjust idle air control is driving me crazy!!! Any problems that you encounter ? And if so how did they fix ?

It costs way more!!!! My bear claw brakes where 6gs alone!, but the stock brakes sucked ass. And the 392 striker is a 6.4L. So I've gone above and beyond!! Not even my seats r original! The 392 stroker naturally asp. is 552 hrsp and590 rtrq. That supercharger should push me too at least 660 or more rear horsepower!! And at least

700rear trq! So I can't wait , I'll post complete numbers and pics, video and all the good stuff in about a week. Bottom line my base line R/T cost 38g and I just dump

@joessrt8 Yeah I have never swapped out the pulley on one of those so I couldn't tell you for certain. I know the more aggressive you get with those prochargers they do get louder so I would say it would probably be louder. Either way good luck with it man. Enjoy the car and your wife lol.

@sergsrt8 The intercooler is an air-to-air intercooler and came with the kit. IT also comes with a tune from ProCharger but it needed to be modifyed due to my other modifications requiring more fuel. Also needed bigger injectors, even bigger than what came with the supercharger kit.

Right tires on this Charger and we're talking low 12's in the 1/4. The stock SRT8 is already the faster to 60mph than a 2010 Shelby Cobra.

So its procharged or super charged, because a procharger is a turbo powered by belt which is like a supercharger. I just didn't think the super charger would be located htere with that housing.

They make a few different types for our cars now, not sure which one is better than the other. Mine was under $7k installed. Of course tuning time and a few more parts were needed to satisfy the fuel thirst of this beast after the blower was added.

Not really, just have to add oil to the supercharger every 3k miles. I use the recommended ProCharger Oil.
