so easy to get to lv 100 in tht game. i did on disk one. just keep fighting gratz in the training room or fighting galbadian troops during the exam on the bridge. but if u do tht the monsters will be stronger too in the beginning. the boss fights will still be easy though because they dont lv up with u like the monsters.......diablos on the other hand (pain in the ass)

My favorite FF, I recently purchased it from PSN and I am loving it, Its been ten years since I played it and its funny how much better I am at it even though most of it I have forgotten. It looks great on the psp but it has a few minor slowdowns that are hardly noticeable. Also remember to change the screen resolution in game by pressing the home key so it fills the screen. My only gripe is that they haven't remade the psone era FF's to take advantage of the psp hardware.

Go for 7 and 9. I've literally played through the games in order so I know what I'm talking about. 8's story is pretty shallow, and the same thing goes for the characters minus Squall. Also, it's incredibly easy since it's the Junction system is just asking you to exploit it without even looking at a guide.

see: i have my 4 disc isos. then i converted them with firstpopstation gui 1.4 to one eboot. but the game does'nt even start. i mean i can start the game, then choose my pops but after that the psp turns black. i can press the home button to see the menue but nothing else...any idea?

If you have a PS3, buy it on that rather than the psp since you can't run away from fights on the psp since there's no R2 and L2 buttons. And since there's a boss about two hours into the game that you can only run away from it makes the game almost unplayable.

@KriticalMovement Actually the PSP does indeed have the L2 and R2 buttons...just in a really unexpected place. If you press the analog stick up in battle, it acts as your L2 and R2 buttons and allows the party to flee. Unfortunately this means you can't press L2 or R2 by itself. Only both can be pressed simultaneously. Not that that's a big deal in this game. ;)

@itsacoolname You can get it directly on your psp but it'll take time and make sure battery level is still high, you don't want your dl to get cut off when the batt dies.

or just install MediaGo on your PC it saves the hassle of dlng via psp.

Actually, it doesn't.

They're veeery similar graphically, in general. They're just different looking.

FF9 really has better graphics than FF8 though, but it's not by much... again, as I said, it's mostly just a different style which sets them apart.

But 9 is equally good, gives you the feeling of adventure, not futuristic but it sends you to a great fantasy world and about the gameplay 9 has equipments and the skill learning system is also good. it should be on the analog stick, assuming your default controller setting is type A. pushing upwards is the same as pressing L2 and R2 together.

@crissdudeman777 dude an easy way to get these types of games would be to download it on the PS3 and then get a USB cable that can plub into ur PS3 and PSP and go to REMOTE PLAY and then go to the Final Fantasy 7 or 8 and press TRIANGLE and pick the import option. its not that hard when you figure it out

i have FF8 it sometimes freezes i have FF7 legend of the dragoon,xenogears,chrono cross/trigger parasite eve 1 castlevania,persona 2,metal gear solid,dino crisis 1&2 tekken 3 Resident evil 1, silent hill, on my psp playing with no issues i am playing it on 4.01 m33-2,you just need to use different popsloader if the game freezes or lags

You need a CFW with 3.71m33-3 is the best i would say and you need the eboot and the keys bin in order for it it work copy it to your game file make sure your running CFW 3.71m33-3
