Sick of how much support cancer gets, any alternative illness which can be 100x more painful and you're fucked as it's not famous. I also hate people 'doing things' for charity. People shouldn't need a shallow reason to be charitable.

@stewylolol Dont you think cancer needs a lot of support, it can effect any one of us...where as things like heart disease and obesity - the 'diseases of affluence' can most of the time be prevented by the individual and those who are not so lucky often have a rarer illness if theyre fit and healthy. Also would you rather people didnt raise money for charity? I mean I get what youre saying, but shouldn't you just be glad of the support a lot of charities get, regardless of their reasons.

@stewylolol My mother died of breast cancer 13 years ago and she was in agony for 3 and a half years . It isn't nice to see anyone going through all those surgical procedures to try and stop it from spreading . They operated on my mother 7 times and in the end nothing came of it so I dont think that cancer research is a waste of time. Things like that dont just arffect the one person either , it can affect everyone and rip a family apart. There's nothing shallow about wanting to help people .
