I like both bowlers, and Pete did make good shots, but half of his shots were doa. He's crying about ten pins but he either missed or made the wrong adjustments. Osku is a monster and all, but he did get pretty lucky on a few of those shots.
@robish2 there is no cure for a solid 10 no matter how much angle you get. Angle is to carry soft 10s. it depends on where in the headpin you hit it, not the angle coming in
@Kidlat432 the better angle you get on the 1-3 or 1-2 pocket the lesser chance there is to leave the 10 pin. but it's true. there is no cure for a solid ten. you still can hit the pocket whit a good angle but you leave the ten pin. i might be wrong and am surely wrong but thats what i like to belive
Why Why Why do people bowl like that.. and why should we make it such a big deal.. ok yes you can throw it fast and put alot of revs on it but.. seriously how long will this be in the news before it goes away.. stick to traditional style.. nice 300 though..
that would be fun to watch, belmonte is better known in america i think, but osku seems to be a little better from what i've seen online and on tv. plus osku looks to have the power advantage and can bowl with one hand pretty good too.
maybe on certain conditions he might be, but overall i'd say it looks like a tossup, if i had to bet on one, just from what i've seen i would probly go with osku but it would be close no matter what i think
@ccool300 lol ok then. go with what you feel but everyone knows belmonte is better. unless you are an osku fan. well lets just say belmonte is more consistent?
couldn't tell u that, i've only seen belmo on the pba once so far, which he won, other than that all i've seen from him is stuff on youtube, just the same as i've seen from osku, i have no real idea who's the better, i just think from watching so many video's of each on here, osku looked to have the slight edge, i wish they both bowled a lot more on tv here so i could have a better opinion really
i wish i could get that little hopstep down when i try bowling 2 handed. i just converted from righty to lefty and eventually wanna try 2 handed once i get conventional down pat. it's amazing how easy osku makes 2 handed look when he's on and i wanna be the left handed version of him someday.
Yes, but he lives in Sweden, and plays with a swedish team; Team Pergamon. Although, he still represents Finland in international competitions and stuff.
I modeled my release after weber. When i first tried it, My average was 150, but then I bowled a 231. I recommend to release like weber to anybody that wants to increase their score.
tbh to make the finals of the us open he must have been throwing it pretty well. also he was only 20 at the time. look at pros out there that have had shit scores on tv, steve jaros had a 129 and that wasnt even on a pattern as hard as the us open.
Thats bullshit, Belmo led most of the qualfying for the world championships lofting it over the gutter. Sure he didn't win but that doesn't mean he can't bowl on pba patterns. He and Osku could easily beat out more than half of the exempt players on tour.
Just to prove that DethRail has no idea what he talking about.
Belmo won The Bowling Foundation Long Island Classic. He was also using 2 different balls, because of 2 different patterns. Playing on lane up 5, and the other almost lofting the left gutter.
@FauxKeegan yeah that dethrail kid is a real fag, his 2 handed vid was terrible, threw it anywhere on the lane and could strike, yet he puts up vids of his normal release and he's a typical house pattern bowler, scores well on the easy lanes but can't come close to winning a junior event, just sad he thinks he knows so much
uhhhh.... Pete hasn't done shit in 2 years, while Osku Making 150k+ bowling overseas all over the world.... If Osku wanted to bowl on tour he would be one the best just like Belmo.

At least Pete hit half way where he was looking in the match, unlike Osku, spraying it around like a water sprinkler. Obviously not too tough of a shot, he throws the ball like that on tour and won't break 150.

why would he waste the shot even if he knows he will win that hurts his overall score thats retarted is it really that hard to just hit the spare stupid europeans

stupid announcer saying those SOLID 10s were due to Pete's lack of revs/ speed. Pete made better shots, Osku was light most of the time.

@Kidlat432 pete did better shots, but he didn't get the angle right to get the 6 pin to put the 10 pin down. just saying.

@StormBowler1994 no it's the cheetah, one of the easiest shots on the pba
kace842 1 year ago
@kace842 it's a house shot. your breakpoint on the cheetah pattern is close to the gutter. the breakpoint here is 10th board or the 1st range finder

Two handed bowling does actually give people that do it both ways much more consistency and accuracy.
I'm one handed but my friend is two handed and he's a machine

ericcartman97 2 years ago
Webbers release works on axis tilt - his high & forward axis tilt is what helps him swing the ball so much.
However, swinging the ball, & "pete webber release" will not guarentee a score increase.
Chances are, you were releasing your ball a lot better than normal, whilst trying to emulate him, thus the 231. Which is an ok game but not great.
StOrmCatz 2 years ago
Pete has low tilt, high axis rotation.
