  • Religion... you blow hard!

  • its just wrong, but i cannot look at david cross without remembering tobias funke.

  • I lol'd at "Jewish specialty"

  • hungover much?

  • David... you are too awesome... love ya man

  • all religions were once the scientology of their day

  • is it just me or is David Cross slowly turning into a hermit?

  • Your chin has something on it

  • I fail to see how the Mormon belief is more ridiculous than other religions based on the reasons given. My way of looking on the different religions relative to each other is to look at how the followers behave in society and placing little importance in their books as these books will be interpreted in whatever way each follower chooses to.

  • @ssesf john smith was clearly drugged up on something. read the book of mormon. holy cow hinduism there

  • @ssesf- Because Mormonism was founded by a convicted conman who recited his book by reading gold tablets out of a fucking hat. All religion is stupid and unfounded but that's just mad.

  • David Cross is JEWISH! His mother is Jewish so he can't be an atheist. It's a Jewish technicality.

  • @voodoo1313 reminds me of a joke... (an old, old joke told mostly by Jews)

Q: what do you call a Jewish atheist?

    A: A Jew

  • social skepticism is the reason i like a lot pf stand up comedians. david cross is hero of mine

  • are they at a golf course?

  • David Cross is fucking awesome. One of my favorite comedians.

  • wow, never knew david cross was jewish.

figures. all the best comics are.

  • @taffysaur yeah like george carlin, richard pryor, eddie murphy, louis ck, dave chappelle, steve martin, chris rock, bill hicks, bill burr, and bill cosby. oooo wait, none of those guys are. oops.i guess none of those names could be mentioned in the "best" category, according to your standards

  • @taffysaur Hes not Jewish. Watch this video. Lol jk. I know what you mean. Culturally Jewish.

  • @taffysaur David Cross isn't Jewish, he is atheist. He was raised as a Jew....entirely different.

  • @cf80to01 fair enough.

  • is david cross that guy in the wheel chair from scary movie?

  • @akayourmommasdaddy yes he is.

  • Good to see a diferent humor there, is rare to see some of atheist humor in Brazil. =/

  • Spot on! All religion is stupid bullshit

  • i believe in god, but i think 1/2 the bible is a fake story :)

    I love his comedy!

  • @viper19861986 - If you think only 1/2 of the Bible is fake, then either you have only read 1/2, or you only have 1/2 a brain.

  • @MrPlanx umm i have read the bible in full start to finish 3 times, not counting all the times in between that i read sections.

There is just too much that fights against it being 100% true. Even the bible says stuff will be added and people will lie to you, but then the bible says every word in it is true....

    Dum dum dum

So i don't worry about the bible to much, i believe that god created the world, he died for our sins and is alive waiting for us.

And to me, that is what makes you a believer.

  • @viper19861986 - If I tell you that the universe was actually created by Zeus, would you believe me? There is just as much evidence for your god as for Zeus. What about Tik-goab, the god of a certain group of tribal Africans. Where is your evidence that your god is not Tik-goab? The fact is that you are also an atheist to 99.999% of the world's religions. Someone who is called an "atheist" simply adds one more god onto the fictional rubbish pile.

  • @MrPlanx nice!

  • @MrPlanx I love being a half believer in the bible :D

I get hate messages and comments from both sides lmao

    you guys are funny.

So you telling me one nothing nothing nothing and than BAM a big explosion happen and then trillions of years later people are here? To me that sounds more made up than anything! I believe even trey parker (guy from southpark) has stated that.

And i didnt pick "a god" i said "god" i didn't state "which one"

I am stating someone/thing created the world as we know it.

  • @viper19861986 - First, the theory of the Big Bang is Cosmology, and has nothing to do with being an atheist. Virtually all atheists (including myself) are really agnostics, technically. We would LOVE to believe in this fantastic idea of an eternal life of happiness when we die, but there is simply zero evidence for it. The lack of evidence for a god means there is no reason to believe in one, just as you don't believe in pink unicorns. A belief in such things causes brain damage. Literally.

  • @MrPlanx god damn i cant find the thumbs up thing (damn you youtube) so i figured id say..."thumbs up" lol better then nothing

  • @t1oxETy - Thank you. The person who uploaded this video made the decision not to allow people to vote thumbs up or down on comments, for some unknown reason (possibly by accident).

  • @MrPlanx Ok :)

Either way, this guys comedy is great... as i stated in my first post. I could care less what you would believe in, as long as you aint trying to cram it down my throat, i could care less.

  • @viper19861986 - Yes, and I wouldn't care either if religious folks weren't brainwashing their children with these damaging fairy tales, and Christians didn't have the political power that they do in America. But Christianity is not benign. It is a social virus that mostly affects children, causing irreparable brain damage (which has been proven in recent neurological investigations of the brains of believers vs. nonbelievers). There is no reason to support programmed insanity.

  • @MrPlanx My parents aren't christians.

  • @viper19861986 - What about your children? Have you allowed them to think for themselves, or do you tell them Bible stories and take them to church?

  • @MrPlanx I have none and never will, the earth has enough people.

Ok so we agree, his comedy is funny? and neither of us want to hear people drill their beliefs on us?

Can i finally quite getting a reply from you?

The guy is funny! That was my statement, i stated i believe in god, to show him even a "christian" supports him. I also know a jew who loves his comedy.

  • @viper19861986 - What would you say about someone who thought pedophiles were okay, even though he hadn't personally molested any children? Don't you think you might try to point out the problem with his thinking, especially if it was in a public forum with other people reading the dialog? Or would you just blow it off and say, to each his own. "So what if he thinks raping babies is okay. As long as he isn't doing it." It is a mental abnormality that affects all of society.

  • @MrPlanx i'm confused.

    His comedy is funny :)

It makes me laugh and feel warm inside :)

I really love this guy and mr carlin...

  • @viper19861986 - Poking fun at the insane is like shooting fish in a barrel. Try not to be a fish. Even a laughing fish.

  • @MrPlanx wtf?

    he is funny :)

  • @MrPlanx wtf?

    he is funny :)

  • @MrPlanx The BASIS of free speech is free thought. If a person merely thinks or speaks of an action, no matter how heinous, it is not only legal, it is PROTECTED by the Constitution. To stifle the free expression of thoughts and ideas is to prevent discussion and possible change. I don't care if the idea is, it will not change if it is never discussed. Perversions can be "cured". Bigots can be "cured". Theists can be "cured". But their ideas have to be discussed and challenged.

  • @ciaochowbella - First, I never said to shut up. I said use your brain.

  • @MrPlanx The implication was that if he would just think about it, he'd shut up. Also, if you're going to say, "first", you kind of need to have a "second" at least.

Keep all messages to me PUBLIC. I don't appreciate random strangers sending me PMs. It is dishonest and underhanded to sneak around and express yourself privately when you can do so publicly. There was absolutely no reason to harry me privately.

Freedom of speech ONLY protects public speech. Not private communications.

  • @ciaochowbella - You responded to my post AND sent me private email. I responded. If you don't want to be communicated with, then don't write to people. I didn't harass you. I responded politely to you. As for "freedom of speech", your laws have no bearing on me. I live in a FREE country.

  • @MrPlanx I RESPONDED to your PM. I didn't initiate a private exchange nor did I encourage one. I don't think PMs are all that polite when they are used to beat a drum.

Congratulations on living in a free country. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Also, I've blocked you from sending me private messages. I prefer to keep ALL discussion and debate PUBLIC. It keeps one more honest.

  • @ciaochowbella - I could not have sent you links to websites I referenced in the public forum. Don't believe me? Try it. That was why I continued my message in email to you directly.

You can "consider" a friendly hello to be an attack, but that doesn't make it so. I am sorry that you feel so easily threatened that email elicits such an emotional response in you. You must have had some serious trauma in your life.. Again, the best way to avoid contact is to not post anything yourself.

  • @MrPlanx I post links in messages all the time. Just add a few spaces.

I don't consider sneaking around in PM to be "friendly". I don't condone crazy and, generally, when I get unsolicited messages, it's from crazy people.

BTW, making a baseless assumption about me doesn't make you look better. It's just a way to comfort yourself.

Perhaps, before promoting your position privately, you should ASK if the recipient would like a message. I always do.

Manners are never out of style.

  • @ciaochowbella - "Sneaking around in PM" ? What does that mean???

  • @MrPlanx You have been arguing with an admitted practitioner of WITCHCRAFT. This obese (200+lbs) necromancer is also an avowed man-hater. She alludes in her blog she, “likes to f*ck them” (if they can get by her prodigious amount of flab) but can’t stand them afterwards, (a real psychopath). She’s pushing 50-yrs old and doesn’t have any children. Well, NO live children, the ones she has had ended up in ‘plastic bags’ in the dumpster behind the abortion clinic. CiaoChowDown is a real Sick-O.

  • @truthseeker000111 - LOL. Thanks, but I'm not dense. This woman has "psychopath" emblazoned on her like a 10,000 watt neon sign. I suspect that she has no clue how obvious it is, too. Who writes a post on a message board, then complains that they get a response in email? What went wrong in her life? Sad.

  • Can't imagine how any intelligent human being could actualy believe in a god. It is so far fetched and clearly man made

  • @superdrew79 - One of two reasons. Either the person was told these things as a child, which is scientifically proven to cause a specific type of brain damage in which the individual is no longer capable of rational thought on the topic of gods. Send me email if you want to see a link to this (YouTube doesn't allow links in posts). The other cause or religion is someone coping with extreme stress and grasping at straws for any kind of support, even imaginary. Sometimes these people get cured.

  • this guy has no idea what hes talking about. At least if he stated solid facts towards these religions it would be respectable.

  • @xhardxcorexnigx3 he does at 3:45 he talks about how people all of a sudden started talking about material things instead of ENLIGHTENMENT after the jewish preacher said something.

  • @xhardxcorexnigx3 Haha, watch his act, not him talking about his act. Would you deny that the Bible is comprised of books written decades after the events they describe by people who weren't there, were barely literate, and had no clue where rain came from, let alone where WE came from? Talking snakes, monsters, a God that looks like a hairless monkey and created us in order to pass some test, basically because He was either bored or lonely.... this makes sense to you?

  • @inthebiscuits if they were barely literate and so undeveloped how would they "make up" such things.

  • @xhardxcorexnigx3 Seriously? I've seen plenty of illiterate, uneducated, and not too bright people make up some incredibly imaginative things, we call them kids. Unfortunately, some of them grow up to use this nonsense as justification for all kinds of evil. I was raised Christian, most Christians I know are decent people, that does not mean the religion itself (of which most people choose which parts they'll follow) is not crazy. Some great lessons, but the Bible has no monopoly on morality.

  • @inthebiscuits but can a kid keep their "imaginative things" straight?no.the only thing i was saying is that he starts talking as if he is better than people, then he says there are many facts that there is no god. which is not true.after he talks about mormons.first of all the con artist was never in any kind of illegal situation.he was never convicted.

  • @xhardxcorexnigx3 Ok, you got me, Joseph Smith was a slightly better liar than the average kid. I try not to feel superior to people like yourself too, but you make it really hard because the more you speak the more irritating I find your intellectual laziness and lack of curiosity, especially when you resort to petty name calling. Also, I'm not an atheist, I'm agnostic, let's see if you can handle nuance....And there is a huge and constant stream of evidence supporting evolution, none for God.

  • @inthebiscuits Petty name calling? I haven't insulted anyone here. And I have never denied evolution in fact I hope its true and not just a false theory. None for God? Its more logical to believe in god than to believe that out of nothing came the universe. Don't insult my intellectual curiosity because in no way is it lazy. I have tried to prove God false so many times but there is no way unless you jump to false conclusions like you did about me.

  • @xhardxcorexnigx3 Where I come from calling someone "faggy" or a "bitch" is insulting, maybe not in middle school where you must be. No one says the universe came form nothing, just that it did not happen as the Bible claims (wasn't even an original idea of the Hebrews btw). That is why, as I said, I'm an agnostic, and it is intellectually lazy to ignore the distinction, as it is to assume that because you haven't disproven God's existence "He" must therefore exist, that is a huge assumption.

  • @inthebiscuits Sorry, got you confused with superkendall2011, that's the namecalling child I meant to reply to.

  • @xhardxcorexnigx3 Sorry, got you confused with superkendall2011, that's the namecalling child I meant to reply to. Guess I was lazy and morphed you two together, apologies. But evolution is ongoing: 1) heritable genetic diversity (some originating through mutation, which is common), 2) some genetic differences are advantageous, 3) advantage leads to accummulation of said gene(s), 4) isolation + accummulation = transpeciation. Myriad verifiable and replicable experiments confirm every stage.

  • @inthebiscuits second of all joseph smith which is the con artist in his warped view was not the only one to view the gold plates.there was a group of people who also viewed it.

  • @inthebiscuits So God is a hairless monkey let me guess ur a faggy atheist aren't u u know what if u can tell me how the world got here and proof of how it got here i might considered atheism and no bullshit science answers cuz the world didnt just appear like that. And Evolution is a crock of shit shit i believe things change but i didnt come from a fucking monkey God made me 100% without science, satan, or bullshit scientology so give me a good example of why God doesnt exist bitch

  • @superkendall2011 HAHa, way to embarrass yourself jackhole! I won't bother explaining the universe to you because it's obvious your brain can't handle much complexity, you like it simple, like yourself, so you'll never get it. You ARE a monkey (albeit one in denial), ever climb a tree, kind of easy, huh? 98% genetic compatibility btn chimps and humans, coincidence? I take it you do believe in genes and heritability, yet not that genes can accummulate in a population so as to separate pop's?

  • @inthebiscuits There aint nothing embarassing about believing in God bitch there may not be proof of a God but also in some science there aint proof what do u think theorys are there not cold hard facts but people believe in theorys and if u ask me i think science cant answer EVERY LITTLE THING. No the thing is about u atheist is that u let science control u where u got to think every thing has a scientific answer. So i'll believe in God Almighty and u believe in ur faggy charles darwin bullshit

  • @superkendall2011 I'd be embarrassed if I found out I was being such a loud ass in defending a belief system based entirely at this point of human evolution on the DENIAL of facts, your corner of uncertainty shrinks daily. Unlike religion, science doesn't claim perfection, it only proceeds systematically according to verifiability. What you're doing is calling the guy who plays blackjack according to math an idiot because you play by luck alone, that's embarrassing and I'm embarrassed for you.

  • @inthebiscuits Well i believe in God i mean if there isn't a God and i got nothing to lose or gain when i die. Cuz if there aint a God when i die according to atheist ill just go into the ground and then what rot. So again no hard feelings i'll believe in God and i'll know the truth when i die.

  • @superkendall2011

You won't 'know the truth' when you die, as the device you use to 'know' things, your brain, will be dead.

  • @superkendall2011 So...your believing in god....because you have nothing to lose? Your belief is just a safety net in case the whole fairy tale happens to be true? Thats some pretty poor faith my friend.

  • @wheaties95 Read all my comments fucktard i was fighting with a faggy atheist who believe science has every little thing to do with life an atheist who has no little faith bitch yea i believe in God but i was merely saying if there is no God than what does it hurt for me to believe in Him. I mean i could believe in Santa Clause my whole life he dont exist but it dont hurt for me to believe. So read my comments before u start commenting bitch i may not be the best christian but at least i am one.

  • @superkendall2011 That makes fuckall sense, living blind because you won't open your eyes means you miss out on a lot. It is absolutely your life to do with as you please, just stay the fuck out of the rest of our way with your bullshit (the same myths used to justify so much killing in the name of God) and waste your life in denial of our true condition as you please. By all means, keep your security blanket, be buried in it, rot in it, as every living thing must do one day (why not us?).

  • @inthebiscuits - and you left out the best part, where god sends his "only son" to earth to be killed, and that makes him forgive mankind. What kind of sick, twisted fuck is this god? Killing his son makes him happy? The reason is that this was taken from pagan rituals of human sacrifice. That's what people in that era were into. Just one half notch above being cannibals, which is why you also have the "eating of his flesh" and drinking his blood rituals of communion.

  • @xhardxcorexnigx3 - did you just mention "solid fact" and "religion" is the same sentence? lol

  • @xhardxcorexnigx3 I get how such a quaint version of history is appealing compared to a version that took 13+ billion years to tell, but seriously, talking snakes, monsters, people with wings, a God that demands 4 of the top 10 most important moral principles be dedicated to His own ego? Religion exists because most people need to be scared or rewarded in order to do the right thing. Without Hell your religion has no meaning and you know it, you wouldn't bother if you weren't AFRAID.

  • If, as a species, we could take back all of the resources wasted on religion over the last 2000 years (actually 3500), can you imagine where we might be as a race of quasi-intelligent beings?

  • @vanyortie most likely all dead. People wouldnt have a base for their moral views. There have been tons of occasions in which religion has hurt people, just like many other things, but also has helped people view the world in a manner to give meaning to peoples lives. Based on religion many have changed their life around and lets say all of this is false well who cares, your stupid theory which is based on NOTHING doesn't matter.

  • Billy Joel wants his beard back David!

  • ARE FOSSILS REALLY MILLIONS OF YEARS OLD? Popular Internet article examines assumptions concerning fossil deposition as well as built-in assumptions involved in modern radiometric dating (not used for dating fossils but other rocks), and arguments from starlight and time. Discusses lack of true transitional forms in the fossil record and lack of "age" sequence of the fossil layers. Discussion of mixed species (i.e. dinosaur, reptile, mammal fossils in the same stratum).

  • @Mogley52 So, because this dating is inconsistent, this means it's all a complete fallacy? We should all probably stop trying to figure out the origins of life and go back to worshiping a imaginary deity in the sky... good point bro.

Maybe stop trying to refute reality and help us all understand better the world in which we live in.. maybe you can come up with a better dating system to use, instead of peddling your god nonsense.
