The metal worker is right. For the steel structure to weaken, the entire steel structure would have to be at the temperatures. The reason is because the steel structure is like a giant heat sink. The isolated fires could raise temps of the steel frame if the steel frame wasn't connected to other steel framing. Oh but it was. 110 stories of it.

Whatever the cause for molten metal under the debris pile it had nothing to do with explosives, jet fuel or thermite. More likely it was caused by fires insulated from the elements & fed by numerous sources. Example: petrol, diesel etc from the hundreds of cars in the lots under the towers.

Just because something is big & powerful, doesn't mean its invincible does it. We know 9/11 shouldnt have happened, but you are not allowing for the cunning & determination of the terrorists.

Fire fighters knew WTC7 was going to collapse way before it did. Assessors had looked at it & decided to pull FDNY operations away from the area because it was unsafe. This was the source for the reports of collapse prior to it actually falling. In the chaos of the day nothing untoward there.

the designer of the building was Minoru Yamasaki, the chief structural engineer was John Skilling, Leslie Robertson was listed as a engineer on the project, not even list as a structural engineer. Since Skilling deaths Robertson has been given credit for Skilling's work for some reason. Skilling worked with Yamasaki numerous times before the twin towers. The "tube in a tube" design was used by Skilling for the IBM building in Seattle before the twin towers
