  • Thanks for great upload.I always wanted to know what this dance looked like.Love it....

  • youtube is so cool it's the GREATEST thing that ever came to the net seeing so many great hits from my youth and the things you can Learn n see all over the world all in one place you rock youtube i loved this song as a kid and still do there's so many oldies hits that made history and had cool dance steps to them a whole bunch hell yeah 5 stars for youtube u can load all these songs n videos into a player at mixpod dot com

  • @Parrotluver2 Wow, I said the same thing to two different people just last week! YT is by far the best thing on the internet. I've found songs I never thought I'd hear again.

  • Thats the only dance I ever do......mostly by myself...whatever!

  • To bad no one makes any dance songs anymore they were lots of fun..Now it's kill kill.

  • I see Bobby Vee in this video.

  • Blondie in the intro had rythm. The two go-go girls at 1:35 killed it. Blondie was dancing like she was dancing for dollars. I don't know where they found those boring black people right after...ugh line dancing people? Anyway, very impressed with the white dancers in this video. Homegirl at 2:23 (the blonde again) killed it. As a matter fact they should have just retired those other cardboard images. yuck

  • Absolutely brilliant mash-up of video & audio. (This is "high camp"!)

  • does this video go with this tune??....they aint dancing the watusi....

  • I wish people invented (and labeled) new dances these days.

  • Most of these dancers were not doing the Watusi...which was a bit like the pony..more pelvis gyrations..and hot like the dirty dog..I learnt the right way from the best watusi dancers ever,my 2 sisters..in 1962

  • Now this is good for the soul.

  • Now this is what i call R and B and not the so called black R and B that we hear nowa days

this is from a time when black musicians and singers really knew how to make proper music and sing from

    the heart and soul

i highly recommend listening to this group and it will be an absolute treat

and it's great to hear that they are still going after all this time too

  • @MYBIGKINDHEART Your comment is the best! Love it!!

  • @tronfire lucky enough some how i found out about this group while looking for music online and just by chance i found them and listened to a few songs which were great and a few more and in the end i got the whole compilation which i think has 46 songs

i think in a way you really can't beat some of these oldies of days gone by

  • As good as it gets!

  • I saw the Orlons on the TPT television oldies DOO WOP and they still sound great. Some of the audience where dancing in the isles. It was great seeing them, and bringing back so many good memories. Let the good times roll!!!!

  • @TheSusiehay they did'nt miss a beat either! i thought they was the best of all of them!
