@williami23 all im saying is that Japan did it first. They took a risk and had to deal with the consequences. A blind attack is a blink attack.... i know thats war. But they really pissed America off and what they got was what they got. I doesnt matter the number of innocents. it just matters that innocents were present and im pretty sure that not all of the men and women that died as a result of the perl harbor attacks were merciless killers that loved to see the Japanese suffer.

@Zaphara11 Pearl Harbor was not an attack on civilians, it was undoubtedly a cowardly attack but it was an attack on military targets. I understand the reason why these bombs were dropped, the Japanese regime at the time just wouldn't surrender and were willing to let every soldier fight till death rather than surrender. But I think the a bombs and pearl harbor are two completely different attacks and although I understand the reason america dropped them I understand the anger of the japanese.

no 10% of the nuclear radiation was affected on the site 90% went up to the stratosphere with the mushroom cloud. So basically we got lucky we didn't end up like Chernobyl.

I noticed Americans at the Hiroshima memorial and I have seen Japaneese at the Pearl Harbor memorial. We could have avoided this if it was not for Dec 7 ,1941.

@urkle06 Firstly im not questioning freedom being a good thing because believe me, I know that I would have next to NOTHING without it. Secondly, I praise each and every individual who is a part of the war effort. All I was trying to do was introduce an ideal situation and see if people could actually bring themselves to agree that it would be a good thing. You have obviously had some experiences that I havent and if I touched a nerve I appologise.
