@rasorman2 . Apparently certain people "don't get it".
This is meant to be our way to enjoy "skiing" in the summertime. If your version of screeing is different, then good for you. I hope you have a good time with it...this is our version (and you won't see me posting on video that yours in "F-ing easy" or that you don't use "sticks". Shut you pie hole - have a good time.
For the rest of you that have posted positive comments, thanks!
5mins from your house....awesome! Our highest fell is only 3279 feet (ish). We have scree runs that are 200-300 feet max in England. I'm away next week so I'll take the camcorder!
Let us know when you post your footage, we're excited to see it.
We live at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Utah, the mountain that we shot this video on is basically in my backyard and is one of the foothills to Mt. Timpanogos which rises to an elevation of 11,555 ft. It's like haveing a wall in your back yard.
This is what i hate about the internet. people get on youtube and start these comment battles about something thats just supposed to be fun. Don't be such goobers.
With limited scree vids up on youtube, the general public shouldn't assume you guys represent screeing's limits. I wish I had footage but since my screeing was back in the day, there wasn't this new school technology you used. My crew didn't even have camcorders. Lines we used to throw down included mandatory 20 ft airs and the possibility of screeing into rivers and getting cliffed out. No flat scree fields like in your vid. By the way, only gapers scree with poles, bizsnatch!
O.k. JamesLB213, so you just "run" down the mountain. Have fun with those memories... apparently that's all you have to talk about.
It is also apparent that you are SO OLD that you don't read so well either...so LISTEN UP:
No where in this post have we stated to anyone that we "represent screenings limits". The disclaimer at the first of the vid. is just that, a disclaimer. And the word is Experienced, not "screeing's limits."
Oh, and JamesLB213, you talk a big game, but you also talk like my 19 year old brother. That doesn't lend much credibility to your "back in the day" stories. Also, I'd pay real money to see you get "cliffed out" or come off your "mandatory 20 ft airs" onto a scree run. My bet is you'd come out with both legs broken and some head trauma....wait, maybe you've already sustained some head trauma, that would explain a lot. I'm done.
JamesLB213.. Instead of talkin' about it why don't you post a video response and show us these "hard lines". We would love to see this screeing mecca.
Definitely not the highest level of extreme screeing. I used to throw down way harder scree lines back in the day back in the scree mecca -- C&O canal MD. Pennyroyal Tea Lock... Reprezent Biatches
O.K. JamesLB213, did I say anywhere in here that this is the "hardest scree lines" we've "thrown down"?
This is some of the first footage we've shot of Screeing in more than 20 years of doing it.
And what does "back in the day" mean anyway... from your language and spelling I'd say that back in the day was probably yesterday... you sound like you're still in High School. I started Screeing before you were born. So go find someone else to try and make yourself feel big with.
thats fucking eazy. ive done it all the way down mt Ngauruhoe. its the only way to get down it.... And we didnt use those sticks either.

Get your check book ready big boy. I think you guys might have inspired me to dust off my scree boots and get back into scree scene next summer.

Are you still here?
Go home.
(by the way...I will pay respect, if it is due, when you can produce video of your "mandatory 20 foot airs". Show us your stuff.)
