If it ever became commonplace to throw paint filled balloons at riot police people, who think about it at least, would attach symbolism for a bunch of different reasons. The beauty of direct action and solidarity between different groups, anarchists or otherwise, is that we are all out there in the streets for different reasons. Perhaps under the umbrella of a singular goal, but for own own reasons nonetheless. I see this as an extremely important fact to take note of.
