  • Great song. Definitely one of my favorites!

  • Every tune I hear of Keiko’s, I think, this is my absolute favorite. And then I hear another, and, it’s my absolute favorite too? She’s just that good. Every one of her musical pieces deserves a place at the top. I have other favorite artists, but none of them come in with such superb consistency as Keiko. There just isn’t a number she does that I don’t like. Whether solo on the piano, or supported by a host of other musicians, she just brings it home.

  • nices ^^

  • I am @ a loss for words. Her music is breathtaking! The more I listen to her the more I'm hooked. Her concerts must be close to a religous experience! I'll go if she comes to mpls

  • Excelente pianista japonesa, buen tema.

  • She is the best!! My favorite artist!

  • I just returned from her concert. She was amazing!!! I could feel her soul in every single composition she performed. Love her!

  • Боже, как красиво !!!!!!!!!

  • she is so talinted that i can respect bravo sweety thats why you are where ur at. keep up the great work

  • Great talent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!

  • The music seems to contain a sense of "Zen",

some touch of "Koto"(Japanese musical instrument) playing,

    and Oriental love feeling...

She is on top of the 21st century's artists.

  • She is the best!!! I love it!!!

  • She hides her wings well, the little cherub. ;-)

  • The music of Keiko Matsui is a blessing from Heaven.

Her music reaches the depths of our souls and pulls out every single beautiful and golden feeling of peace and love. Her music reminds us to appreciate the special connection those of us from ecclectic cultures share through her music, which has the power to unify and encourage us to embrace our human family with love and mutual joy.

  • lovee this. :]

  • Awesome!!

  • I love how it starts up slow, and soft, thinking it going to end then she gradually gets louder with her elelctric piano, then electric gutiar I think put some kick in it.

    Don't even expect it either...love Keiko...so mysterious!

  • wow she awsome love this song man do it relax ur mind great song water elf♪♪♪♪♪♪♪

  • For Jazz Fans.. This vdo very nice..

  • Wow...so emotionally satisfying..;)

  • I love this music!!!

  • Keiko!!!! this song rocks!!!! i met her she was so nice! kappa all the way

  • I imagine a reluctant soldier saying farewell to his wife, going to war, becoming a hero and returning home triumphant.

  • what a beautiful depiction on the song. very truly, I can imagine it also.

  • I believe there's a part in 9/8 as well, I'm a drummer and thats how I count it. then 2 measures of 4/4 including the ritardando measure and stays 4/4. I was suppose to be the first to mention the time signatures, it is called destiny. I would be able to play it counting it like this.

  • wait it could be counted as 12/8 as compound, i mean the measure before the ritardando. we have to ask keiko how was it written.

  • I suppose nobody else wonders when its about new age... new agers just relax and enjoy never wonder. Or is my comment just plain dumb? I haven't seen people talking music-wise

  • Well, that's one way to approach music. I'm one of them, but I do know some (read: tiny bit of) theory.

You're right. Most of the fast part is in 5/8 (I think it's a fast 5/4, but that depends on notation). Then it rits back into 4/4, like in the beginning.

  • Oh, what I wouldn't give to be the drum set player behind her (I play primarily piano, but that position is sort of taken, yes?).

  • She's amazing live! :)

  • Suas linhas melódicas me tocam profundamente!Grande alma,performance RARA!!!!!!!!NAMASTÊ!!!Obrigada!!!

  • has anyone else noticed the trance she falls into while she plays?

  • yes its much like the one my mother and i go into when we play

  • Keiko Matsui is one of the main inspirations behind why I learned to play the piano in the first place... her music is powerful on a whole other level.

  • i love the second have...it just becomes "epic" somehow! ^_^

  • i love this stuff...reminds me of old school rpg video game music.

  • Matsui if you ever read these words if I had the money to travel like I want to I would pay and travel to every one of your beautiful and spiritual performances. Your music definitely stimulate the Chakras

  • It's wonderful, I love this sound!

  • it reminds me Spirited Away's soundtrack

  • This music not for everyone.. Not everybody can understand her and feel, touching with soul

  • read the caption einstein.

  • I was wondering is this in 5/8?
