  • LOL so many uses for hard drive magnets...

  • Sir Joseph Swan invented the light bulb.

Thomas Edison and Louis Lattimer invented the U.S. version of the light bulb together. but Lattimer did not get the credit.

Anyway, they had more than 10,000 prototypes.

  • Wow! Its a gyro scope! Wow!

  • I cant wait to see it fly off and hit u in the face

  • Noobs, Aluminum will not stop the alpha waves. They are also not listening to our thoughts, they are projecting into them. . . Du!

  • i like the setup. used hard drive megnets.nice idea

  • So.......what was the point of the video? Nothing in the video was special or unusual.

  • you're a genius!!! you've solved the world energy crisis!!!

  • it spins like Nikola Tesla must be spinning in his grave

  • You are aware that Edison still owes Nikola Tesla for building his generators. Nikola Tesla quit when Edison refused to pay him for his work. Soon after Nikola Tesla Invented AC. Witch Edison try to damn, by making the electric chair. AC won because It was practical.

Known to date the only thing Edison could of invented was the phonograph, and the phone...PIERYUD

  • After watching this clip, my life is now complete... thank you.

  • uuu, what does this button do...

  • The level of ignorance posted in these threads is amazing. This is nothing more than a rotor from a small DC motor. This will not run w/o power. The inertia of the rotor is the only thing keeping it moving when power is removed. It could have run much longer if the shaft ends were ground to points. Eventually air resistance and friction would slow it down.

  • you hit it right on the head!

some of these guys see a magnrt float and its "oo, perpetual motion" or "anti gravity" or fucking aliens.

I wonder if some of these guys line their hats with foil so the government/aliens don't eavesdrop on their thoughts via bluetooth!!

Was I the only one awake in high school physics?

  • Alright, so they cant hear my thoughts???

  • Probobly not!

But to be truly effective, you need to change the foil liner in your hat daily!

    Live long and prosper!

  • OH SHIT i forgot to do that today!!!!!

  • its not intertia... you can see because the motor stabilizes at a slower speed for a while, and then rocks back and forth near the end.

  • Warning:this magnets are super strong try to put ur finger in between then see whats the results are lol! i got alot of those

  • are those magnets from a hard drive?

  • yes from Hdd :)

  • Are you sure? Those are the exact motors that are in my model trains, and I've never seen one in a Hard Drive

  • those magnets, both top and bottom are in deed hard drive head magnets, very powerfull stuff, but the engine is electric, magnets are only there to maintain equilibrium, shiti stuff by the way, and if it goes strait at some point it's because the electric spinner got it's point of gravity by getting spinning frequency to it's wheight, kill the mtf.

  • I made one of these motors when I was 11 for a science project!

  • though this is a regular motor concept, but didn't you see something fishy about it? It continue to run on a back EMF.

  • It continues to run after he removes power due to inertia, not back EMF

  • wtf, thats not a magnetic motor, thats an electric motor i built one myself

  • the name is electric motor not magnectic motor so shut up

  • and the point is?

  • to get people to watch it

  • umm thats an electric motor...

  • this is a common electric motor. In general use of the term, "engine" refers to the transfer of one form of energy (normally chemical) into motion. A "motor" changes electrical energy into motion, so could be classed as a form of engine. A magnetic engine would be somethin like the video i have on my channel. Please rate and comment! Nice idea though, and you picked up a lot of speed on that thing"! mine is not the same, more hypnotic

  • hey now at 0:15 that sounds like the creepy phone call in silent hill 4 the room.

  • u suck u just took that out of the motor and calling it magnetic engine... do u even know what magnetic engine is? (THIS IS CALLED A ELECTRIC MOTOR).. change the name..

  • How do you think electric motors work? Electricity creates a magnetic field that causes the rotor to spin. This thing is a magnetic motor because all electric motors use a magnetic fields. However, having said that, the title is misleading in light of the other "magnet Motor" videos. Change the title to...My electric rotor still spins.

  • Cool exposed! Great presentation! :)

  • what did you use to power it? like a 12 volt battery?

  • ist a 14 AC 1A transformator ;p the 24V battery burn it :P

  • Hehe zarąbiste. Ale się tu masony napisały, no no :P.

  • why does every body keep using power? figure it out, it should power itself. replace the armuture with a constant magnet that does not need power to be one

  • What if he did it on a larger scale hooked it up to an alternator and re routed the power back to the magnet what do you think would happen then just a thought

  • Or can you.

  • constant magnets would lose polatiry to quick he should use electro magnets like on the mag trains in germany, contanst pushing and pulling and you can make them stronger with more electricity i.e. fast cars or more electricity lol

  • It shouldn't and it doesn't. The motor moves because of a CHANGING magnetic field. You replace the coils with a permanent magnet and it will move to one stable position and stop. All these 'free energy' machines ever do is rely on being pushed to a state where they are unstable so they move to a stable state and in the process move for a while until friction takes over.

  • no its a motor
