  • wow thanks Jksax914.

I always wanted too make my own home made pumpkin pie.

now i have a base too start with. I would have used , them jck o latern pumpkins lol. now i know..

    Use 'sugar pumkin's"

    thanks again.

  • This recipe sounds and looks good! Thank you!

  • I've done fresh pumpkin and canned,it's fun to do it this way but it's really not worth the trouble to make the fresh pies if I make pies all the time. The canned is really close in flavor.

  • Thanks for your recipe, I was wondering if I could use regular fresh milk ?

  • @TheMsUnknownuser there are a very big difference on normal milk and condensed milk, condesed milk is really thik and sweet, so I wouldnt use normal milk, it would make a pretty big difference

  • omg your pies are ssssoooi ggooood!!!!

  • Very simple. Thanks!

  • I love this :)

  • Your way makes way more sense. I have seen a ton of videos where people put water in the pan and then baked the pumpkin. I like your way better. Less water! I did the other way, last year, and had to put the pumpkin in the fridge over night to let it drain. There was so much water/flavor loss. Thanks for posting! Your kids must love a baking father!! I always did.

  • I'll bet they taste wonderful. My wife tried to make a scratch pumpkin pie once but used the wrong kind of pumpkin. It was awful. I'll have to tell her about sugar pumpkins.

    Regards, Gary
