No, in america the g6 offers a 2.4 I4, 3.5 V6, 3.9 V6, and then the GTP and GXP are the only G6's that offer the 3.6 V6.

umm the g8 is a 6.0l v8 and the g6 is the v6. the number after the g is the engine, not tat hard.

Actually the g8 base comes with 3.6l V6 just like it mentions in the description, if you get the gt or gxp its a v8.The G6 base is actually a 2.4l I4, so the number doesnt actually mean the engine just what they call it.

@hungryhhippo the g6 gt does 0-60 in 8 sec and the g8 v6 does it in 7 sec. The g8 v6 has more hp than the g6 v6.  So the g8 is better looking and faster, especially if you have the g8 gt.

honestly, the g8 is such a nice looking car that i could care less how fast the v6 version is. i have the g6 gt and that barely gets to 60 in 7 seconds. id rather have a slightly slower g8.

Yea to be honest i started letting up early because i was in a bad area for cops and i shifted early its got a 6,900 redline. So with a good flat run im thinking mid 7's.
