Let's see...if I have a party and let a few people know that I bought a keg or two I can expect a huge crowd. I guess history does have a way of repeating itself. Let's tap that keg! Woooo! Hoooo!
The Captain's crew took the powder to his ship, which was moored on River Street. The Captain immediately sailed from Savannah to a port up north. The powder from Savannah was then taken immediately to the troops who were enganging at the Battle of Bunker Hill. As a result of the powder from Savannah getting to them in the nick of time, we were able to hold out. The rest is history. Tondee was a member of the Sons of Liberty as were a handfull of men from Savannah.
In their drunken state, they bragged that they could knock the British soldiers over the head and steal the powder any time they wanted to. The Captain said, "How about now?" They proceeded to knock the guards out & stole the barrels of powder.
Drunk Irish patriots at Peter Tondee's tavern near River Street in Savannah overheard a visiting ship's Captain from Philladelphia informing Tondee that we were losing the war against the British as Gen. Washington's Continental Army was out of gunpowder. The drunk Irish men told the good Captain that there was a large British powder magazine down River Street, and only a couple of British soldiers guarded the magazine at night.
This was posted on my Facebook page, I liked it so I reposted it.
I forwarded your video to Dr. Bob Frady, and he replied, "Beer & whiskey were used to grow the patriot movement, and bars were the primary meeting site for gatherings of patriots.
Jitgos, I notice that happens too, I am not sure why, but I am going to replace my mic and change recording settings. I am open to ideas if you know how to fix it?

So because of the free internet media, we may have a chance. We just need to combine youtube with some keggers and get this party started.

I'm really glad I found your channel. Another great video.
One thing though... the audio is only in my left ear. Am I the only one? Weird.
