what kind of final boss is this!!!!? it walks back and forth raping you with teeth things!! that is not fun at all!!!! I hate this boss !!! and if you try to avoid the teeth things, he just keeps spawning more of them! i just took a break after my 230498234 attempt at this thing. I was doing pretty good avoided all the teeth things, but then got stabbed by the giant claw -_- fuck this boss ok? fuck him

@asterix2220 I defeated it on Hard at LV 3! [Succubus Glitch]. With eryins, buer Lv5 and stolas Lv 9. Buer prevent the teeth from touching me, Eryins is the best soul for this boss and do a good job to destroy the teeth, Stolas is a must for adding damage.

Does anybody else believe that the "powerful demon soul" that Dimitri absorbed was that of Legion? Certainly looks like the area where you'd find a demon composed of countless bodies at least....

Skeleton Gardener -Master Soma, to use the Mandragora properly, pull the middle antenna of it's head as you would with a human fragmentation grenade, then it will slowly wake up and yell hard. Please note to cover ears...

i level 99'd soma and this boss was way easy with a lvl 99, only took me about 5 minutes to beat him using the highest powered equipment and souls

I just so happened to be at level 54 (first playthrough). Come to think of it, on my first attempts to beat Menace I ran out of High Potions and High Mind Ups. But on the successful attempt I had plenty left. :)

I finally beat him. :) I was at level 54, and I used: Lance, Blocking Mail, Tear Of Blood. Attacks. Soul: at first, to kill the head on the knee Abaddon (lucusts), for his actual head Killer Clown, and besides that Manticore (one of my favourites) and Golem (I don't think I changed Golem throughout the entire game ^^). Maybe not the best options, but hey.

I found it pretty tough, it took me maybe about ten times or something. Oh well, that way it's extra satisfying. Great game.

lol i was on the chapel in lv 9 and done the game in lv 40 now i'm lv 99 and all weapons and armour. the best armour named draculas tunic and demons mail. and deth scyte is the best weapon.

the 2nd part looks like that one guy from the old metroid games

he looked like a dinosaur with 2-3 lined up vertical horns on his stomach

and you had to jump on platforms and attack him while he shot stuff at you

its like an exact copy

wow, u were only at level 37 at the end of the game? By the time I got to the ending on my first playthrough I was on level 71.

The lowest level I've beaten him was 14, but I used a glitch to get there... Still not really all that hard, but not being able to be hit more than twice because of low HP is a pretty big downside (without using Potions)...

I think he's talking about Abaddon, with the "cloud of locusts", not the Mandragora...

For the first one, using Devil along with Golem (I know you should have a t least one of those) and a powerful weapon is best, even with constant HP loss, the ATK you get is OUTRAGEOUS! For the second form, hitting the bottom head with Malacoda does quite a bit more damage than Mandragora, but on the upper head, it's probably best to do whatever you like... That one's not all that important to have anything other than to just dodge Menace's myriad of punches...

Other than that, good battle...

Also, using Death is unimportant in these battles, as Menace has no target spot, making the scythes not go after either part of him, so it would probably be better with something else, though what I don't know... *shrug* Oh well, it's not like you probably had anything better to equip anyways, Guardian souls are fairly useless in this fight (except for certain ones like Flying Humanoid)...

Here's my suggestion to beat menace the easy way. you will need

succubus soul

death soul

golem soul (and ghoul for emergency in case you have any bad food)

I hated what they did to Claimh Solais in this game. They made it harder to wield as apposed to AoS.

I thought PoR was pretty balanced in terms of difficulty, even on hard. I thought DoS was a bit harder than the other hand held Castlevania titles so far.

Destropros: Here's a tip for Menace I always make sure to upgrade my 2h sword to Claimh Solias (Since it has the holy attribute) then when you fight Menace it'll be no problem since one of his weaknesses is holy.
