They do the same jobs we do, maybe not in volume, but its the same job none the less. As for the people complaining about damaged packages, i would like to see you get into a feeder trailer and TRY to load hundreds of packages of all sizes and weight in less than 4 hours. It's true that UPS has a terrible reputation, offline and online... the number of Youtube videos on UPS fails is incredible!! Never gonna use their service.
UPS used to be the best service and the cheapest, but not anymore. After they went on strike, the price went up high and delivery process went more slowly than ever in most cases. FedEX is much better now and it's cheaper. I went to deliver the package, and found out the price at both UPS and FedEx. The UPS shipping price is $33.46 and FedEx is $27.90. The package got there two days to my customers with FedEx, so FedEx overall is better to me. I still like UPS okay, but not as much as I used to
I go with Fedex. UPS sucks and they are not even open in the weekends when people are often off from work. Why do they deliver around 12~2 pm when poeple are at work or at school. that's stupid. Fedex at least do delivery in the weekends

My experience with UPS, is just horrible. I gave them 3 chances, and all failed. UPS would usually say, they can deliver my package with in 3days. Then it takes the whole week, and 2 days. FED EX, delivers it in 3days. One package even got to me a day early.
last christmas we ordered pretty much all our gifts online. some of the companies use fed-ex, some ups. when it came to overnight shipping almost all the fed-ex packages came late. one of them took like 4 days. the ups deliveries were always on time.
You see more UPS drivers, because we deliver more packages. And those 4 trucks you see are probably filled 100%. I've seen the back of a FedEx truck, I could do cartwheels in the back if I wanted too. UPS WINS.

If you recall, Federal Express was the original name. So, FEDUP would not make sense. As you know, Federal and Fed have different meanings. The implication just wouldn't work. Plus, if they did merge, chances are only one name would be used.

If you come back with to many to offten, you could be written up and have to re-attempt them the next day. If you mean "number of stops", then you're simply lying: in NJ, UPS cars go out with about 150 stops for the day (that's a minimum), and cars crammed with packages. I doubt any FedEx driver does more than that in a 9.5 hour day.

Please don't ship your package by Fedex because the package l've sent arrived damaged. Filed insurance claim and they gave me the round around. They do not honor their insurance policy.

Most retailer use UPS and I hope all of them switch to UPS eventually.
Lets see, how many FedEx drivers show up each day on some commercial stops. At one, there are 3 driver delivering what it only takes one UPS driver to do. FedEx Express delivers the air packages, and some commercial stops have 2 ground drivers show up. One delivers and another picks up. Efficient.
Fedex sucks they hire chumps that can't deliver for crap they ended up giving a $300 package to one of my neighbors while leaving the paper at my house luckily my neighbors gave it back.
And for every one of you, there's 10 people who would bitch if FedEx didn't leave it with the neighbor, and you either had to wait another day or drive out to the station to pick it up.
Actually Express drivers get comparable pay for the work they do, UPS drivers get paid well for what they do, I've done both and currently am with one of the companies, Both get paid for the work they do. FedEx drivers take it in the rear cause it takes 15 years to make top rate.
UPS is better man, offers a lot more benefits. I'd like to send out a shoutout to my old outbound belt PD8 lol...now Im PD10's supervisor and Im pretty happy there. Im making weekly service and eating pizza for it :D

I didn't get my laptop today because weather delay in chicago, lol what fucking weather delay it was a clear day, plus the fedex car drove by my house and didnt stopped and not only that, the package delivery got canceled exactly 12hrs after it was out for delivery... out for delivery 6 30 am, cancled at 6 30 pm... not 6 31 or 6 29, 6 30... fuck fedex ups all the way

omg i know. our thing departed the 23rd and now its the 27th and it STILL hasn't come. and it isn't even that far away. but FINALLY it departed from my area and is on delivery to my house now. five hours after it departed. they're seriously slow. (by the way i got a laptop too.)

I totally agree. I used to work for Fed Ex and it has to be, if anything, one of the shittiest employers (next to Duke) I have worked for. Better yet, avoid monkey-infested Durham, N(auseating) C(owards) period. I hope Fed Ex goes bankrupt. UPS' package handlers get benefits and Fed Ex's don't. Who's better? Neither one of them are :-)

Please don't ship your package by Fedex because the package l've sent arrived damaged. Filed insurance claim and they gave me the round around. They do not honor their insurance policy.

They conveniently change their stories to get out of giving refunds for LATE overnight services by changing the story from mechanical to weather delay. They misdeliver and make lies about the driver being supposedly going back to pick it up. LIARS LIARS LIARS!

I sent a package Dallas to NY FED-EX, it came back in 10 days, I sent again, it came back again MANGLED. I sent a new package w/UPS and got there in like 3 or 4 days! fed ex sucks!!

Fedex sucks major ass.
I had a valuable package to receive, I requested fedex customer service to have it delivered on certain day. Customer service rep promised it would be done 100%. Guess what? These retards are gonna deliver it on the different day. And I already took a day off my job to get it!!! Now this day off is wasted thanks to fucking fedex.
Most retailer use UPS and I hope all of them switch to UPS eventually.

Lets see, how many FedEx drivers show up each day on some commercial stops. At one, there are 3 driver delivering what it only takes one UPS driver to do. FedEx Express delivers the air packages, and some commercial stops have 2 ground drivers show up. One delivers and another picks up. Efficient.

I like the sexy uniform of UPS but I like the logo and color scheme of FedEx but the UPS service is the fastest.
I haven't experince DHL while USPS is juts ok.

Actually Express drivers get comparable pay for the work they do, UPS drivers get paid well for what they do, I've done both and currently am with one of the companies, Both get paid for the work they do. FedEx drivers take it in the rear cause it takes 15 years to make top rate.

UPS is better man, offers a lot more benefits. I'd like to send out a shoutout to my old outbound belt PD8 lol...now Im PD10's supervisor and Im pretty happy there. Im making weekly service and eating pizza for it :D

UPS sucks they always lose my stuff. I love FedEx and they have the largest Cargo Fleet. UPS is the worst cargo company out there. No DHL than UPS.
