the reason is this: you need a program like GIMP or photoshop, paint wont do it, cause it wont convert the file. also it has to be war3mapPreview.tga, including the capitol P, its important.
Reply to our comments and help us out. I too can't save the map after I do this, unless I close out of Import Manager and then save it. Then it doesn't work. Maybe because the name of the imported file changes with the custom path? Help us please.
