Brake Burner Super D Race NZ 2008

So, what is super d. It looks like dowhill.

@Savage7046 Yep it is a downhill mountain bike race, but the difference is the riders go continuously around the course for 6 hours... single track down and then taking a ski chair lift back up to the top again. Riders have a bracelet on their ankle that counts how many laps they've done. Some do the 6 hours solo, others do it in teams as a sort of relay event.

I can do all of that... just the jumps will probably own me. For some reason, my bike doesn't like to jump. It likes to buck. Haha.

Changing over a timing device. You can either do the full race solo, or do it in teams relay-style. The electronic ankle band registers laps/times each time a rider passes the 'start' line.

Sorry the '09 Brake Burner was just a few weeks ago (early Feb), just out of Queenstown, NZ. Unfortunately we didn't make it to this year's event.
