Sure football is tough and okay to watch, but hockey players are some, if not the best conditioned athletes you can find. Hockey will always be my favorite sport until I die...

Wings fan here...he's not overpaid. Other than Stevie Y and Lidstrom, Fedorov was the only other player to place first or 2nd on the playoff stat sheet every year. He knew when it was time to step up his game, and that's hard to say for a lot of European players.

Yeah, like the fans know the facts. I've heard that Fedorov signed with the Ducks for less than what he was offered from Detroit. And it's hard to believe that he get's paid more now in Columbus than he did in Anaheim. Maybe he has had other reasons for changing the scenery couple of times.

Actually, the Runner on ice doens't matter. Skating gets the average skater faster anyway. A good skater can go 40 MPH, the fastest runner less then 30.
