This really needs the Macross to fold in and unleash the main guns destroying the majority of both fleets. Then the valkyrie squadrons can fly in and finish off the rest.

Im probable going to get shit for saying this, but my money is on the Star Trek universe winning. Of course you can argue that the Empire is faster, but the diffrent species in the trek universe must break the light barrier, while simultaniously continuing to function in the known laws of that universe. Hyperspace, or slipspace, while can make you go faster is crossing into a diffrent realm, alot easier then what the Trek universe does. Trek is way more advanced.

Good thing you didn't add Eclipse class super star destroyers those thing have a super laser. A cut down version can't destroy a planet but it can crack the planets crust. As in the super laser that is. So Eclipse super star destroyer against the star fleet or rebel forces or the Babylon 5 forces = Ouch big time. Especially if there is more than one Eclipse.
@Battleship009 the super laser is a very limited weapon. easily avioded. its also too large to manuver. some transphasic torpedoes to the main bridge followed by some more to the engineering level and its all over for that thing.

There should be some Constitution, Intrepid, and NX-01 class ships in the Federation armada, and BSG should be part of the Rebel Armada. Just a meere sugguestion.
Constitution and NX class are friggin relics that cant handle these engagments plus they all were scrapped or museum pieces.. as for the Intrepid, they arent warships.

How has this even reached 6+ eps? ;-) Anyone capable of looking at the various shows and movies can see that, with functional shields and FTL weapons (the photon torpedoes, which ARE FTL as per ST canon, despite show SFX which insist on showing things we can actually see LOL) that outpower anything except the deathstar main weapon, Starfleet and it's allies the Klingons would kick the Imperial fleet around like Beckham and a football LOL

Wrong. Many worlds stood behind the Empire and Palpatine. At the end, it was about half-half, but the Imperial Fleet was still superior until the end.
Still superior? Hah, The rebels had stolen imperial tech, and they had other races tech. Mon Calamari Cruisers easily beat star destroyers. Besides if they were superior to the Rebels and lost. Why can't that happen with Trek even though Trek is far more powerfu?
Wrong. Mon Cal cruisers don't "easily beat" Star Destroyers - they are equal at most. The Rebels actually *lost* against the Empire, until the Emperor was killed. And I won't even go for your "Trek is superior", we already did this, remember?

Fliegengott was correct. I make the Movements and Capabilities of the different ships realistic, weapons I PORTRAY as realistic but I really dont care about number crunching. Basically I figure there are 3 types of weapons, point defense, light, and heavy weapons and usually every ship in each universes has those. and I do my battles according to that, main weapons are killers, light weapons are for surgery, and point defense are for fighter protection

I differ between "serious" videos and "entertainment" videos - this one is obviously the latter, it's not supposed to be realistic, it's just meant to be entertaining. So I can accept that, I know in a real battle the Feds would be pwned in a minute or less, but hey, that would be boring.
One Problem: Compared to SW Weapons, ST weapons SUCK ASS.
Turbo Laaser (SW main weapons) Has an output of 200 GT's PER SHOT. Any conflict between the SW and ST universes would be like Nukeing a ladybug 5 times then naplaming it then nukeing it again. ST is the ladybug if you haven't figured it out.
The thing is, the author got tired of the "this ship shouldn't have died because it has xxx power weapons and blah blah blah" crap. As of the fifth movie, whoever gets shot first in the right spot dies. Everyone has equal footing.

I love the part when the Defiant comes and shoots torpedos at the smalls SD and then the larger SD. I think the movement of the Defiant and the effects are extremely well done. I love the whole concept of these videos. Big, crowded space battles are the way to go!

I kept expecting that supergate to activate, and the Ori come through and begin to attack EVERYONE, because that's what the Ori would do. The Ori don't compromise or make alliances; it's strictly their way or the highway.

If they have any intelligence reports on the Empire, it would make sense. If the Empire were to take control of the Star Trek universe, Romulans, Klingons, Ferengi, and all other non-human races would be relegated to 2nd class citizens, at best.
Its just that (althou the vids are great) the reinforcments coming in the last moment is geting a bit old. you should make a straight forward battle with high loses on both sides. you could put in some more imperial ships like, carck cruisers (id love to see them chase the Defiant) or Lancer frigates. A superweapon would be good too like the Eclipse or Death Star.

Thats actually something called the "Nexus Gate". Basically its a link to another universe....which is how this is a cross-over. :) (Behind the scenes fact: Thats not a stargate mesh. Thats actually the outer docking ring of Deep Space Nine.)

Still superior? Hah, The rebels had stolen imperial tech, and they had other races tech. Mon Calamari Cruisers easily beat star destroyers. Besides if they were superior to the Rebels and lost. Why can't that happen with Trek even though Trek is far more powerfu?

Wrong. Mon Cal cruisers don't "easily beat" Star Destroyers - they are equal at most. The Rebels actually *lost* against the Empire, until the Emperor was killed. And I won't even go for your "Trek is superior", we already did this, remember?
Also, let's keep this apart from this video. It's a well done, entertaining piece of work. If you wish, send me an email, it spares us the naste 500 counts rule ...

Fliegengott was correct. I make the Movements and Capabilities of the different ships realistic, weapons I PORTRAY as realistic but I really dont care about number crunching. Basically I figure there are 3 types of weapons, point defense, light, and heavy weapons and usually every ship in each universes has those. and I do my battles according to that, main weapons are killers, light weapons are for surgery, and point defense are for fighter protection

very impressive dude, I love these kind of vids! But i hate it when people try to throw in stats! There are no stats cause these arent real people, there made up things with geeks the one making the stats, just like George Lucas did with all his storyline, it was funny people try to make up theri own stories and here comes George with his own and true version and now everyone has to change up what they got! The ST and B5 and SW arent even in the same time line, just enjoy the show! thanks Ice

I differ between "serious" videos and "entertainment" videos - this one is obviously the latter, it's not supposed to be realistic, it's just meant to be entertaining. So I can accept that, I know in a real battle the Feds would be pwned in a minute or less, but hey, that would be boring.

One Problem: Compared to SW Weapons, ST weapons SUCK ASS.
Turbo Laaser (SW main weapons) Has an output of 200 GT's PER SHOT. Any conflict between the SW and ST universes would be like Nukeing a ladybug 5 times then naplaming it then nukeing it again. ST is the ladybug if you haven't figured it out.

The thing is, the author got tired of the "this ship shouldn't have died because it has xxx power weapons and blah blah blah" crap. As of the fifth movie, whoever gets shot first in the right spot dies. Everyone has equal footing.

Seeing as this was made before season 7 of stargate aired, I kinda doubt it. As I had explained earlier (hint: read comments before posting), that is actually the "Nexsus Gate". (which is actually just the outer docking ring of DS9)
I actually have the old footage from a previous attempt Icefire made. If I get around to it, I'll put them together and post the whole thing.

I love the part when the Defiant comes and shoots torpedos at the smalls SD and then the larger SD. I think the movement of the Defiant and the effects are extremely well done. I love the whole concept of these videos. Big, crowded space battles are the way to go!

I kept expecting that supergate to activate, and the Ori come through and begin to attack EVERYONE, because that's what the Ori would do. The Ori don't compromise or make alliances; it's strictly their way or the highway.

If they have any intelligence reports on the Empire, it would make sense. If the Empire were to take control of the Star Trek universe, Romulans, Klingons, Ferengi, and all other non-human races would be relegated to 2nd class citizens, at best.

Its just that (althou the vids are great) the reinforcments coming in the last moment is geting a bit old. you should make a straight forward battle with high loses on both sides. you could put in some more imperial ships like, carck cruisers (id love to see them chase the Defiant) or Lancer frigates. A superweapon would be good too like the Eclipse or Death Star.

Thats actually something called the "Nexus Gate". Basically its a link to another universe....which is how this is a cross-over. :) (Behind the scenes fact: Thats not a stargate mesh. Thats actually the outer docking ring of Deep Space Nine.)
