One thing is without doubt, though, every morning these days before during my drive to school I listen to Qur'anic recitation and it brings me such a state of peace, and the words are without a doubt words of peace.. Quran is meditation not only for mind but for spirit, and I think, insh'Allah, Allah SWT will bring me back. So much stuff has shaken my faith in this past year, but like you said, I should take all those advice of yours, very good advice..

personally (my opinion) i think u belive, but ur doubting urself, if ur determined inshallah allah will give u the answers, and study biology, see all the mechanisms of our livelihood put together, it becoms harder to belive it could have all happened accidently, and always distinguish difference between culture and islam, paticularly in asia these can get mixed up by people who dont do much reserch, and can become very dangerous as there understanding and idea of islam is misrepresented

i swear this is true, I am studying Biology at A levels now, so much of it strengthens my faith. When my teacher says the words "all life comes from water" and they can be found in the Qur'an. And then when you look at the complex systems, be they on the microbiological level (ie systems of diffusion across cell surface membranes) or on a larger scale you can't help but come to the conclusion that this can not have been random.

sometimes that happens, but when u face urself with all the other realities other than islam u get even mroe depressed, and eventually in islam u always find peace and feel happiest alhamdulillah, u only get depressd becus of false influences all around u wich usually get people in alot of trouble these false desires only rane trouble, u need to read The quran, read Allah words and then do u find tranquility 'truly in the remebrance of allah do hearts find tranquility' (soemwhere in the quran)

yes i am aware of those statistics, but i did not imply suicide with respect to poverty. depression as a mental disorder is what i was trying to ensue ~ genetics is a game of luck. and those born with mental illness such as depressive disorder does not seem just to me. i have witnessed individuals go thru depression and nothing is positive about it, there is nothing just. they just were born unlucky where i was lucky. i just dont see God in all of this.
