  • u should get 2 stright pipes my home boy gots they sound hard

  • @quesadilla123 ya? i have been thinking about changing them to some straight pipes.....

  • @midniteOG my super 10 and high flow cat sound like straight pipe almost. i got a 4.7l as well. they sound bad ass man!

  • @aaminjoshi91 ya? thats awesome!

  • @midniteOG it is pretty bad ass man. i got my vids if you ever needa reference then haha!

  • @midniteOG straight pipes sound wicked. I that a 5.9 or the 5.2? Me and a buddy of mine both have 5.2s and he went full straight pipes and it sounds nasty. I'm thinking of doing it this summer as well, take a cheap cat and a cheap stainless muffler and cut them in half, clean them out, and weld them over top of the straight pipes so it still looks legal. My buddy just went plain old straight pipes and pays a guy 50 dollars a year to inspect it and say it's all legal ;-)

  • @daBlade80 nice man, i have the 4.7 v8 in my truck, not as BA as the 5.2 or 5.9, but still a great motor. sounds like you have a good plan with yours...

  • @midniteOG straight pipes on a 4.7l sound so horrible bro. don't do it man. get a high flow cat. one of them small straight through magnaflow kind and a single chamber muffler. thats loud and has some tone to it.

  • @aaminjoshi91

thanks for the info... my next plan is to get the y-pipe, which i hear is the most restricting part of the exhaust, and then a high flow cat. after that, who knows???

  • @midniteOG yeah those y pipes are pretty bad. and yeah our stock cats are actually really good. as high flow as it gets. but those smaller cats give you more volume from your exhaust. so you don't really need a high flow cat but it'll give you volume. shorty headers aren't to bad either but again our stock manifolds are pretty solid.

  • @aaminjoshi91 thanks for the info.. i hear your supposed to change the cats every 80k or so.. and im running 100k on mine... who knows.. probably do a swap, o2 sensors and what not to improve mpg

  • @midniteOG never heard that bro. cats are supposed to last the length of the vehicle. its illegal to change a new cat out for another one. the old cat has to have at least 50k miles on it to even consider changing it. but yeah it wont hurt any changing it bro.

  • yeah, much better than flowdisaster, i mean i like flows... just borla sounds badass and its refined... so it doesn't sound like some rednecks SUV. Flows would fit the persona of a pick up more

  • @itsafloater lol well said...

  • hey how does this sucker do on gas with your mods? PS - borla ftmfw!!!!

  • @itsafloater lol, hll ya man! BORLA! but it gets about 13mpg city... so ya... lol

  • @midniteOG my g/f's got a durango, the thing drinks gas faster than i pound beer, its ridiculous

  • i wander why they call it a cat back i mean these model durangos dont have any cats just s resonater about mid cab lol at least mine does wont very much longer im running duals

  • I have the same engine, but why does yours sound so tuner like. It doesnt have like a growl to it?

  • @HiJackZX1

it does have a growl... not the best quality video tho....

  • @HiJackZX1 hey i don´t know what kind of tuners they´ve got where you live, but if i was to hear civics sounding like that i would not try to run them.... imagine a 5.9 sound in a vtec... shiiittt you would not need vtec then... lol

  • @argentinsimo23 I didnt explain my comment correctly. I think tuners sound awesome, but for a big massive truck, I do not think the sound go with it. It should have a loud growl, like a muscle car. Maybe its just me though? This is the first time I have heard a Durango sound like this.

  • Look like you are running a bit rich there midnite.

  • @JWhirl06

lol ya i am... this was pre intake manifold tho and post tuner. should be about right, maybe a bit lean now. we'l see after the cams go in...

  • what else do yuo have in the dodge?

  • hey thanks for checking me out. got a 68.5mm throttle body, superchips tuner, h/o intake manifold, coild air intake, borla cat back exhaust and soon to have some cams...

  • @midniteOG what engine

  • 4.7 liter v8

  • Pretty fresh... I wanna see one with the late model hemi in it tho... That would be SICK

  • sounds good to me

  • why thank you!

  • nice!! check mine out!.i got 4.7L..wit a flowmaster

  • prob one of the nicest looking durangos ive ever seen

  • thank you!

  • wow i have a 5.9L R/T and it does not sound as good as that..

  • hey thanks man!!!!!

  • ya i've got a 2000 w/ a 4.7l. still a quick motor. mines straight piped but it sounds good

  • I got a V8 Magnum 5.2L

  • ya, i wish i had the 5.2 or the r/t 5.9.. may be doing a swap to the 6.1L srt-8

  • oké

  • Very nice, im in the process of putting one on mine, is yours a 4.7L or 5.9L?

  • goo man!!! mines a 4.7 unfortunatly, stil love it tho!!!

  • Check out my videos of my durango...if you want to do it a little cheaper, do it yourself with a flowmaster 40-series on stock pipe(thats what i did and i think it sounds just as good)

  • thanks man !!!^^^^

  • sounds very good. Nice and low just how I like it to sound!
