Wikpedia article. Here's what it says on the ACR: 7:22 Chrysler conducted test, Motor Trend confirmed, Hardcore Package option, non-stock race seat with a six-point harness, suspension alterations, aero adjustments, video confirmed. Standard my fucking ass.

And the GTR info: 7:29 Nissan Motors conducted test, base GTR with stock tires, video confirmed. Check if you want. The information that the ACR was standard and the GTR was modded is bullshit, it's the other way round.

I got a R34 but i live in Oz, they getting awfully common here so i wouldnt mind a 35 myself. Wish i had the mullah.

Yeh...im laughing at my comment still, cause the fact is the ZR1 is US 100K compared to the GTR 70K premium tag. 480HP GTR Vs. 620HP V8 LS9...GTR posted a nurburg lap of 7:29...Corvette "SAYS" they can make 7:2- Something time...they don't even know what they can do...Still not leaps n bounds over the 35R...If you wanna compare cars wait till the V-spec and the Evolution GTR models arrive...then tell me where your ZR1 comes ;) Anyhow thanks for the reply, next time know your GM cars son :D

Oh also i happen to own a Holden VS excecutive with a LS1 and i own a RB25DE a RB26DETT N1, so i know both the predessesor engines quite well i know know what they are both capable of and if i wanted bang for buck id take that 35 VR38DETT over the LS9...i guess its choice and money that comes into it as always...Anyhow don't bother replying mcromance1, i've heard it all before, trust me.

Well like i said i have a R34 and i love my skylines, its only natural that id like its successor, which would be my first option, i would definately consider a ZR1 aswell but 70K and 100K can get you alot of other things, so i guess i wouldnt buy either, i've spent well over 40 grand on my 34 and about 25 to buy it and i probs cant sell it for more than 30! Thats cars for you...

Hes a quick fact...that GTR at Nurburgring track was a Spec GTR not the actually thats on the streets...and lets not mention it was used on Road Race Tires...not Street Radials...that alone makes the worl of difference...aside from the car being already upgraded from the factory for that specific event...do your research next time...

Are we talking about that ? No ppl are trying to compare the current US spec Skyline to the ZR1 however the Skyline used during that big race wasn't the avg. Skyline at all and the fact it wasn't on standard street radials but road race track only tires...that the = of running slicks at the track compared to off the shelf standard all year weather use street radials...makes a HUGE difference 1 second means a whole lot when its just tires alone...add mods to a car and even better

sooo...That Skyline in the straight line not in Spec trim does not out perform the ZR1 and in the track racing its a Spec R35 racing a Stock ZR1 im sure a ZR1 running on Road Race tires will gladly make up a difference...or put in a Non Spec R35 and see what happens...point is...theres the little things that make a big difference...both plat forms are stout TT V6 SC V8 power to weight AWD RWD its to diff. kind of leagues playing = in the same field ZR1 0-60 with AWD is impressive period
