WOW!!! What you can find on Youtube these days - in this case, cultural (and personal) history. Took me back 40 years. Ran across Judith Durham of the Seekers - my favorite group of the 1960s! She had one voice in a million - and the group complemented it so well. "Like a ruby surrounded by blue velvet" was the way a friend put it. I learned the guitar part from The Seekers' "Yesterday" off the album "Georgie Girl." Been playing ever since! And tracked down her website. Fabulous.
Amazing, her voice shows no wear at all! On the contrary, it has become mellower with age. This woman is a walking wonder. Hope to hear your incredible voice for many more years to come, Judith!
Slow Jazz is not my favorite. Judith's voice and looks are amazing for her age. In my opinion, her voice is at least the equal of any popular female singer in the 20th century.
Judith in her true element, singin' some great Gershwin. what a voice to this day. reminds me so much of her pre-Seekers music. 5* fav. many thanks for posting =)
When Engelbert Humperdinck said over 40 yrs ago that "this girl (Judith) could sing anything" he was so right, but I had no idea then that his words would prove absolutely true so many years later. She is frankly incomparable.

66 and she's still got it!
I never liked her jazz as much as some of her other things, but this was great.

Nice one guys! (and gal..)
Judith, you sound as good as you did in the late 60's when I first became a Seekers fan.
Nice to hear something a touch more soulful!
