Farid composed over 350 songs. He borrowed music only once, and that was the Isaac Albeniz's Asturias, which he incorporated into his song Hikayet Gharami, and into taqsims. Farid was upfront and open about his use of that music.
Please note that Fareed Al-Atrash's song, "Wayak" was part of the movie, "lahnul Khulood" in 1953 while the Hindi song by Mohammed Rafi was from the movie, "Junglee" in 1961, Shammi Kapoor's first film in color.
man, both are pretty good. kinda hard to decide which one is better..

arabic tunes are originals but indian tunes they copy it from the arabic songs ...
as u can see fareed alatrash song was sung in 1953 n junglee film was made in 1962..

This is partially true.
Arab musicians, especially famous ones, do copy from other musicians and don't credit them. Watch our video, "Isaac Albeniz & Fareed Al-Atrash".

Fareed Al-Atrash's song was composed by himself while Mohammed Rafi's song was composed by Shankar Jaikishan.
