i was watching a lets play okami on the sunken ship before i went to that level. i did that so i wont scream when i see the spider queen and i know what she will do...

plus, are there anymore ghosts or anything to freak me out in the ship? i wanna know before i scream and ... yeah. i did the crabs and passed through that giant green thing btw

It's because your actually looking in the wrong spot, the music was first used in Hana Valley. On the soundtrack it was called Cursed Hanasaki Valley, so look for something similar to that. :)

Amaterasu was originally goddess but in this game its a male so its a little messed up

Actually, you're wrong about that, in this game if you play the Japanese version Amaterasu is still a female, but in the European and American versions they decided to never actually confirm the sex of the wolf so they always refer to her as "this wolf" or "white wolf" or some other genderless pronoun. Regardless I'm more than aware of who Amaterasu is so I call her a girl even if the game wants me to believe she's apparently genderless.

LOL, this is sort of way after your post, but before you enter the Wind Shrine in Kusa Village, whatever the ghost's name that is floating above the entrance that can apparently see people's true selves says he can see Amaterasu as a "fair maiden." And Waka always calls her "ma cherie," which is feminine in French, so... I guess it's implied?

Though it seems sort of clear to me. I think there may be others?

I'd say it's pretty clear, but for whatever reason they tried in the North American translation to make Ammy as gender neutral as possible. They still slip in a lot of female pronouns though.
