Last weekend I was in the Colorado mountains at dusk, watching for beavers to come out of their lodge. The first one did, and made this tail slap. (Scared the hell out of me.) I left after 2 more slaps--obviously I was too close. This is the perfect video to share with my husband so he can hear what it sounded like! Thanks.
During my first camping trip in the B-dub I heard this sound early one morning and I was convinced someone was throwing bolders into the water. Scared the hell out of me. Thanks for posting.
