  • Damn, didn't know Prodigy went to jump up Drum N' Bass. Beautiful pipe, but I'd hate that varnish taste.

  • Invaders must die

  • haha this dudes jammin to dubstep! thats whats up!

  • Beatiful pipe great buy have you every tried Ashton winding road

  • @CRGryan5 not yet!

  • thats are reali goooog musics that you are hearing please give me some titles or something

  • Man Im loving that pipe beautiful cant wait to get my hands on one of my own.

  • I just bought an Aldo Velani. Well, I bought it and got it before Christmas. The outer layer or varnish started to just fall off the side of the pipe. I dedicated myself to removing what I could with out damaging the surface of the pipe. I thought pieces might have been getting into the big bowl with smoking.

  • I share your fears right now...

I'm breaking in a brand new no-name pipe (it says "Gianni" on it), I just hope its plastic part is not too poisonous LOL

after a few smokes (if I'm still into it) I'll get a pro pipe and stop worrying!

  • Nice looking pipe. Been thinking of getting a Mario Grandi. Prices seem good. Love Frog Morton ATP by the way.

  • Really like the new pipe. I love the wood and the grain. I winder what the health benefits are from smoking olive wood pipes. I think it should be like the benefit of using olive oil over other oils. (just kidding) Enjoy the pipe it looks great!

  • Does it overheat? Varnished pipes often do, get too hot to hold and cause tongue bite, in my experience.

  • It has not overheated yet

  • WOW! I THOUGHT it was olivewood, which I only know from pictures on books. I'm surprised you didn't make more of a point about it.

I have never smoked or even seen an olivewood pipe in person. I'd love to know how it works and tastes, and how it turns colour. It's certainly a good-looking one, and very reasonable. Is it light or heavy?

Enjoy it! The peculiar taste may come from the fact that it is oil-cured.

  • It feels about 15.69% heavier than your average briar

  • But then again, my briar is so average!

  • Hi Marc,

your new pipe looks awesome! Nice grain...

Why don't your break it in with a pure Virginia tobacco (it gives a much better cake)?

    Cheers

    Lars

  • Not so much into virginias, sorry

  • nice pipe

  • beautiful grain on that pipe!

    dan

  • Bad ass pipe, Matches your beard great.

  • Do you smoke in the beach? I will like to make a painting with that pipe! Cheers

  • Sometimes I smoke on the beach, yes

  • whats the name of that song?!

  • LIke that song? The song and artist names pop up in beginning of video

  • oh lol i totaly missed it

  • I generally love FM on the bayou, but the last couple bowls have been really sour. turned me off the tin i have for the moment.

  • Thats weird about the smelling, because pipes are supposed to be finished with wax, which doesn't have much of a smell

  • Thats a cool pipe. I haven't seen too many olive wood pipes, but i've heard that olive wood is very good for pipes. Did the tamp. come with the pipe?

  • Yes it did, nice touch huh?

  • yeah thats really sweet. I only have the cheap $1 metal tampers heh. Also, have you tried any of the other Frog Morton blends? I'm looking for a lighter (beginner) latakia blend to try. Do you have any recommendations?

  • looks good. Nice size

  • It looks like Venus.

  • Sehr schöne Pfeife - Grain und Shape gefällt mir sehr!

  • Vielen Dank, und der Pfeiife was nicht teuer

  • i love mario grandi pipes =] i also love frog morton. great choices!

  • Nice pipe, been meaning to try olive wood & Morta pipes.

    Cheers

    Brian

  • Theres just something different about Mario Grandi pipes....The style, shape, and grains are simply the most beautiful pipes out there.....other than Wade. (Wade's are my fave!). ALso, Im dyin to try some Frog, I think On the Town will be my first try, along with Westminster.

  • Nice pipe mate..

  • back to the lighter pipe friend?

  • Forgive me, for I have sinned :-)

  • Nice pipe.. it not smell as glue.. it smells as olive wood. i had one of this before.

about the tobacco, the original "Frog Morton" is the best.. but other 3 is also nice but not like the classic frog Morton.. sometimes i call it Light version of Westminster.. sometimes it even taste better then Westminster.. depending on you mood..

  • Does Olive wood smell like chemical glue?

  • Great looking pipe. For some reason I really like this video of yours the best I think...unsure why?

Have you tried FM on the town??

    Eric

  • That one is next

  • I heard it is excellent. I have still to try Northwoods which some say is better than Westminster...???

  • Equal in my taste

  • I did not like Frog Morton Across the Pond. It was recommended to me and I tried it for about 3-4 bowls and just...blech. I do like McClelland's Bombay Extra a lot, but I've just been loving perique a lot lately.

  • very nice pipe. I'd like to see you use a long stem pipe though.. it's like a chinese pipe.. you know what i'm talking about?

  • I really dislike long stems, sorry :-(

  • ah no problem, may i ask why though?

  • Always have gravitated towards thick/stubby

  • damn, that means i have pipe acquiring competition on ebay et al. that is also my preferred proportion of pipe.

  • very nice pipe makes me rethink ordering the MacQueen church warden i want

  • sweet pipe!

  • the music is great, the pipe even more!!

  • I love that pipe! It's awesome! I love that giant shaped pipe! How does it costs?

    Cheers George

P.S. Frog morton is an Aromatic or English blend tobacco?

  • $135. From Italy.. Frog=English
