  • good video

  • i don't know what is the problem whit this peoples they lock the same . black sking i don, t see any diferent

  • @ThePeeety It would be fare to get the facts right; ....Dark / Light skinned?....you make it so simple to describe a rather complicated composition of one Tribe (Abanyarwanda). .Abatutsi, Abatwa and Abahutu have co-existed in one tribe with the same language. I wonder which group Mutara Rudahigwa would belong to based on your description.

  • we are ABANYARWANDA the hutu tusti thing is played out and don't compare parents and colonizers ok ! use you mind right! you are not helping in any way !!

  • the tutsi and hutu differention wasnt based on lighter and darker skinned. our king yuvi was realy dark. they based us on the facial features, height and position. tutsi and bahutu are not tribes. i am an american tutsi thats my ethnicity, my tribe/clan is Bega. in reality supremecy came from wealth, since tutsi are cattle herders and the hutu are agricultural tutsi became powerful, leading to our monarchy, preciding over BOTH hutu and tutsi chiefs in charge of tribes.

  • bega do you mean as beja????bcoz my country is 90% desandants of beja...lol maybe we could be related..lol

  • were are you from bro somalia?.

  • @tksmurf Im from eritrea bro....the beja/agazians/afars are from the same ancestors..the somali's are from "dir" they are our first cousins..thats why our country name is eritrea..erth means the people of the red land named by the anduis people 6000 years ago...while the ancient egyptions had other names for us ta seti/kush/punites/medjays depending on the era of the dynasties.

  • alright..lol i know that my clan has a similar sounding name so..i dont realy know if our clan and the beja are connected ..but if the tutsi did come down from their they might have brought down the culture and preserved the name.

  • @tksmurf Wow because the beja were known as bega to the ancient egyptions...loool 2 tribes with the same name..probarly they are not the same after all...i think the tutsi are actually a nilo hamitic people not kushtic hamitic who moved to rwanda 500 years ago...i think the tutsi might be related to the dinka's and nuer people in south sudan.

  • thats a cool theory into that, thanks for telling me about the name similarity i'll be sure to talk to my family about that thanks very much bro.

  • history is repetitive just like you video we need love not division ok this is how it start not to judge you but u sound like colonizer stay in ur lane and mind you biz.hutu and tutsi thing is lame we all breath air peace!oh please you tube stop this its not helping

  • @Kabahizi1 why are you directing the comment at me?..colonizer..im half kenyan so while one half of my family was escaping rwanda in the 50's the other half were mau mau's fighting for the independence in kenya so dont tell me not to speak because i have just as much authority to speak on a subject that i know extremley intamtley.

  • @tksmurf you make it sound like "white fathers" are the real fathers of rwanda.you can't compare COLONIZERS with parents and think its cool.not with me at least. watch:( the veterans of rwanda) its on you tube then you will understand.

  • @Kabahizi1 what the hell are you talking about i just told you that my family was involved in the mau mau rebellion in kenya my great grandpa was a chief in kenya and he fought for independence from the so called "white fathers". im not comparing colonizers with parent i dont even know what your talking about, and i dont half to understand anything my family line goes way back and was extremley pro monarchy hence the fleeing of rwanda in the 50's/

  • @tksmurf that wasn't 4 you bro i am very sorry ,see how they make us enemies its like same kind of Ambush in the night. ONE LOVE!

  • Well done- insightful comparison to personal situation.

  • @ThePeeety

Hutu and tutsi are NOT tribes, but ethnicities/peoples (similar in scope to Celtic and Germanic ethnicity during the late Antiquity).

Tribes are virtually inexistant in Sub-Saharan Africa and to correct tksmurf: there are clans (which are "smaller" divisions within the ethnicities), but numbering in their many thousands and being spread over several countries, these do not compare to tribes either.

"Tribal" Africa is a false demeaning image, popularised by European colonialists.

  • @ThePeeety i don't know what to say to you!
